Thanks for the tips. I finally started this map today and only in the exploring steps I'm already getting salty about this map. Particularly about the fact this is the region where the map straight up lies to you the most. So many places where things just don't line up. Marked roads that end nowhere, bridges that don't exist, paths that are there but not shown. I already brought 5 trucks including the 73210 and I'll bring more. Oh, and the blue super sticky snow that eats your momentum and your fuel. It's everywhere.
Exactly, that would NEVER happen. Nope. Definitely not.

LMAO very first attempt at imandra 3 trucks rolled, 1 hopelessly stuck . 1 completely useless. only my f750 stripped made it to the v10 upgrade then it stuck in the swamp LMAO good times ! whew i was pissed.
@ my first attempt went similar except I think I brought like 7 or 8. Rolled like 4, Tayga got stuck at a 90 degree angle in a river, a yar became a submarine and idl what happened to the others
@ The initial start is the hardest thing about that map, after you realize what upgrades and trucks to use and what routes to take it gets more... manageable
Tomorrow i can buy the dlc off the eshop and start playing again been playinf alot of the ps4 version to prepare for the switch release this is one of the greatest games ever made
That's really kind of you, these little deals really help me fund the equipment and other purchases I can use to make more videos. The community comes first as much as possible.
I’m about a week into my first time play through of Snowrunner … all I want from Imandra right now is the final upgrade for the F750 and to unlock the garage. Based on the comments, I’m in for a rough day tomorrow.
@@ATribeCalledCars Explored a little with the F750’s 2nd best engine equipped, then gave the Tartarin some time on the ice. Got serious, modded up with the Keny C-500, which was probably overkill, grabbed my engine & got outta town. Imandra is gonna be fun later, but not until I’ve got a proper fleet of trucks.
Currently i am in Imandra ,just unlocked the garage and i can say that the 2nd part was a....pain , once tipped and Tatarin was my saviour. Scouting by Tatarin, Yar and Burlak. For the jobs i am using Tatra Force +crane+sideboard and it is ok but it is a little tippy and it has a very big steering wheel radius.
My tip would be to not take anything *too* big. My most successful convoy setup so far would be the Voron Grad towing the TUZ 16 behind with a fuel trailer. I figured that things like Kolobs and Azovs just make things more difficult... somehow
@@debillington9239 Yes, I find keeping things as minimal as possible helps. So if you're going for a heavy truck, don't do a trailer for instance. The medium and smaller trucks can really shine in Imandra if you're happy taking a bit longer in deep snow or can avoid it.
With you all the way on the scouting. I used two scouts to explore and open the map, then drove up my beloved acteon to use as a fuel truck and rescue vehicle. All missions to open the garage done with the scouts and trailers. Yeah, sure, it took me ages, but I'm in no rush. Let's off road!
Be careful in the area I call Long Rock Beach. Easy to high center, especially so with trucks like the 73210. You may need to invest in a rig that can do ferry duty, like one you would use for the insane mud section in Alaska, such as a Cat or a Kolob.
I especially dislike these rocky beaches for the reason you said. Got two trucks stuck there before I learned to stick to the water's edge. Firmer ground there.
Quick question: how many of you have taken a truck with non chained tyres to the lake on the ice just to floor it and spin round and round doing doughnuts? I have 😄 I admit it....
@@ATribeCalledCars yep, they are everywhere ^^ About that collector dlc truck you mentioned. I could be completly wrong but someone on the discord said there will be a Pacific P512. Even with my supped up(and modded) F750 and ZIKR 605R Goliath, Imandra is a bitch. Worst jobs were delivering steel to the substation and wood to the power poles. Just trying to get up to the steel loading area is a bitch. The wood delivery wasn’t bad in the beginning, but after delivering the first wood I ended up tipping the trailer and lost the wood. Though I haven’t done the airplane or the armored cars jobs yet. Funny thing though is that I never used more than the two trucks I had.

Thanks for showing me how good the tayga is, finally got the garage in imandra and I used it with the Voron AE
Voron AE and Taygy are definitely great. Decent performance in a smaller package works well in Imandra. Glad I could be of help.

Hey Ben, Great work on the video!!
Video starts at 2:34
I have the same ATs! They lasted me 10 years before they finally died.
Happy you got a sponser, bud! You deserve it. Also, great video.
Cheers, appreciate it.
Ayyy our boi got sponsored! Gotta get those bucks for the Apache ;)
Yes I did, madness! I still remember being at
Here is another tip: Watch videos like this BEFORE venturing into the great blue yonder of Imandra.
Is this your lock down look Ben or was it just a heavy night?
Both if I recall correctly.
I already beat the map but unlocking the garage was the hardest part
I think it's the hardest bit too, seems like they got the progression backwards.
Got it, ordering Earl Grey tea now.
You won't regret it.
Great show bud!!! Keep it up!!
Thanks Mike.
Congrats on the sponsorship
Thanks, it's crazy how far the channel has come.
Yeah been watching since horizon 4
Last time I was this early, I was still playing the game 😆
Still enjoying your videos though.
Maybe you'll return when Canada arrives... Hope you're keeping well.
A Tribe Called Cars thanks Ben 😃
Actually playing Inertial Drift right now.
It’s cartoony, drifty sillyness. And who amongst us wouldn’t enjoy that??
Ok, I'll just take a 8x8 truck with 120" tires and DOMINATE this map! 😄😜
If only I had mods on console. Speaking of which, news on that coming soon!
Earl Grey Tea all day every day
Yes, by far the best tea.
Agreed. Lovely stuff.
I love your voice !
Nice of you to say.

Raid just gives so much money you cant denie
Deep pockets I think. Helps the channel so I can't complain.

Use European trucks
Ginaf trucks are built to go through mud thats deep enough to sink a tractor 4 feet deep and to not care

Way too often.

Yes, totally agree.

strong disagreement on the fuel..... I've drained the cat tank numerous times. more than 10
I feel like the Apache floats in water?
Provided you’re careful entering it that is.
Yeah it definitely floats.
Don't rush isn't new to me lol
It's not to me but I ignore it so often and, well, it rarely ends well in SnowRunner.
