- After receiving a lot of requests to show how I made the 6x9 Lapbook, I decided to film the creation of the basic structure, only this time I've made an adjustment to the size down to 5x8 - there's a method behind my madness!

If anyone is curious, google lapbooks and you wil find the amazing ways they have been used as teaching tools. School wasn't like that in my day, sadly

Just finished putting my lapbook together! Your directions were easy to follow, and I'm very pleased how it came out. I've colored the spines and covered the back cover. Can't wait to get to the rest!

That is fantastic. My friend just got married before Christmas. It was a very vintage wedding. Was trying to think what I could do for the photos I took. That and the papers look ideal. Roll on Friday.

Got started on my lapbook. I used an old cardboard box like that used for cereal. It is slightly larger than yours 6x9in. Left a couple of flaps to be used as pockets in the future. Got it taped up with the gussets too, though I made them 1/2 in. wide. Now I'm looking forward to covering the paper with printed papers. What a great idea, Mr. Deakin! Thanks.

I also did the lapbook 5x8. I just costumized it and had a Problem with my masking tape. It didn´t hold the flip page so i had to use small stripes of paper. Was fun creating it. I used it for my favorite old pics of my son. Thank you ! Bye Bye :-)

At last I,ve found you! I discovered the lapbooks idea in one of the channels you referenced . Loved the design but found it hard to follow the directions, Then I found a lot of other instructional videos with directions which seemed unnecessarily complicated plus The paper combinations did not appeal to me, Since I love vintage I was so excited to find your channel and thank you so much for the very clear step by step instructions! I have done some experimenting on my own and watching your video affirmed my efforts. Thank you again!
