Like you said, I’d want to carry it with me everywhere. When my kids were little and we were going to Church, I use to pack a “busy” bag. Stuff to surprise my kids with and keep them busy. First: this journal is beyond amazing and the paper collection is exactly my style. I really need to replace my dead printer so I can get this paper. Second: I watched this with my mouth open in awe. Just recently got into junk journals, so getting new ideas are priceless! Distressing masking tape is great for those of us who can’t afford much Washi tape. You are a journal making genius! I have a petite journal in my etsy shop but its no where near as creative as yours. I know you can't film everything you do but I would have watched a two day video just to see you working on this. I'm so inspired by you! Luise, I had to watch this again... it's such a precious creation!! I love everything about it! I'll have to try some of the features you created, once I'm more advanced in journal making... I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned some of the words you were looking for in the video... here is my contribution (skip this if not needed ;-) ). The type of metal closure you used in this journal is a chain, which is attached to the journal with a lobster clasp, on the back cover you added a chain extension for when the journal gets wider. Inside in the beginning and end of the journal, you used (beautiful) straps to close the initial pockets, these straps (front and back of the journal) have eyelet holes through which you placed bulb pins with bead dangles :-) - these pins connect the straps to a tab. About the washing tape sticker: it has a slick surface which is also shiny. The metal flower embelishments which show through the (very clever and cute) round windows is made of beads. Much love to you ❤

Just recently got into junk journals, so getting new ideas are priceless! Distressing masking tape is great for those of us who can’t afford much Washi tape. And punching holes to help with the bulky flower…brilliant!!!

You are a journal making genius! I have a petite journal in my etsy shop but its no where near as creative as yours. I know you can't film everything you do but I would have watched a two day video just to see you working on this. I'm so inspired by you! Luise, I had to watch this again... it's such a precious creation!! I love everything about it! I'll have to try some of the features you created, once I'm more advanced in journal making... I'm not sure if anyone else mentioned some of the words you were looking for in the video... here is my contribution (skip this if not needed ;-) ). The type of metal closure you used in this journal is a chain, which is attached to the journal with a lobster clasp, on the back cover you added a chain extension for when the journal gets wider. Inside in the beginning and end of the journal, you used (beautiful) straps to close the initial pockets, these straps (front and back of the journal) have eyelet holes through which you placed bulb pins with bead dangles :-) - these pins connect the straps to a tab. About the washing tape sticker: it has a slick surface which is also shiny. The metal flower embelishments which show through the (very clever and cute) round windows is made of beads.
