Wow, what a God send...just was talking to the Lord this morning...why do my feet feel heavier as I was walking. And 2 hours later your tube popped up. I've seen many of yours and you helped me with an old groin injury. Thank you so much, and thank you for sharing about your parents...The Lord bless you for your work!

As a young woman I always felt ashamed of my strong muscular legs but now as I’m aging I appreciate it. Thanks for this video I want to keep my legs strong until I die!
Matt, thank you for your superb exercises. Love your dialogue and quiet instruction. Would love a follow along version . I’m in the uk, 66yo and recently retired nurse. Yes, I’ve seen it all over the years and truly believe correct movement is the way to prevent so many problems.
Matt! You are SO encouraging! Your videos have made a big difference in my life! I do best with a follow along to follow, so, Yes, I would love to have one on these exercises! Thank you! Also, Imlove the way you honor your parents. So sorry they are already gone.❤
I took a job this summer with a lot of sitting involved. Bad mistake. I'm 58 and have always had jobs that I moved a lot in. Thank you for helping me start a workout program. I would love another video.😊
Hey @Uprighthealth first off, I am sorry to hear about your dad’s fall, hip break, and passing. As I approach the second fifty years and having a desk job I have noticed how tight my hips are and how weak my lower body is. It is humbling. I lift weights and perform cardio almost every day and have neglected the most important parts of my body like toes, feet, calves, hip flexors, glutes which are used to keep our bodies upright and stable. As a result, I am now focusing my attention my lower body strength and endurance as well as my flexibility. Thank you so much for the content you have created. It is an eye-opening and life-changing experience.
❤I just turned 68, and had been looking for leg exercises as I had to sell my horse 10 years ago..and feel like I've lost so much strength. Thank you!!
I'm 79 and worked at dog grooming until I had to have gall bladder removed at 71 then fell backward at 75 since then for someone who's worked hard alk her life exercises make my body so sore I just want to die. Arthritis in hips then a fall after hubby died made the phsyatic nerve go through a personal space and can not shift it. Thanks anyway you are the best
Almost all work in the kitchen I am doing in mini static squat (cutting wedgies, washing dishes), biking every day, walking stairs 4th floor twice a day (and stairs everywhere else), putting socks and shoes one leg standing.. with hernia, both hip and both knee arthritis.. movement is the best medicine! (59 years young)
Oh my goodness when you said don't act like a teenager 😅 I'm 68 and my Son is always saying mum why do you push exercise to the limit basically until it's painful. Hearing you say that makes me realise that I need to work up to the exercise instead of pushing until it's way to painful. I appreciate all of your videos thanks from Ireland 😊
I'm 68 and same as you. Haha and I definitely don't see myself as a senior Matt. Just found your channel and I am all in with you. Consuming every day.
I’m 80 and follow your suggestions. This video was directed to me as I’m struggling to regain strength and stability in my lower body. Please send your follow along video to me. Thank you!
Thanks these seem so doable. I'm trying to write everything down so I can try to do the list when I get up in the morning. And I'm going to get the dumbbells and ankle weights as soon as I can. Thanks for advice about weights and the reps. I'm very hopeful. I'm 75 but am optimistic I can add some important strength to get off floors, improve my balance and range of motion..it may take a year to see good improvement but I have patience. Thanks for being so encouraging. I've run into so many Drs who frown on weight strength training, for wanting a strong back and core who don't care want I want for a comfortable life in my body...not theirs!!!
Excellent video. Thank you and please make the follow up video of next level of leg strength for seniors. Also please always keep in mind that many of us have Osteoporosis and many don’t even know that they have it. Thank you for your time, expertise and humor. 😊
I too would love a follow along. (I do mean a workout program!) I'm in my 60's and just had two surgeries. The doctors all say I am okay with starting to exercise again. I have had trouble in the past doing lunges, but with your video, I was able to do squats and all I can say is THANK YOU!
I can't do all of them but please do a follow-along video. I have leg weakness/balance because of spinal stenosis and sciatica. Thanks for caring about us!
I’m only 56 and I’m gonna start doing these at my desk at work!! I have sciatica and hip flexor issues, so I had to lay off all my squatting and deadlifting! So, I have to find alternative ways to work my glutes and I really like that rotational move!
What a fantastic video!!! I have saved them to do twice a week, I’m 68 I walk 5 days a week, this is perfect for me to build strength thank you very much!!!
Matt, thank you for being you and for having Upright Health. This video especially, thank you for your generosity and trust in us to share your story about your parents. My parents are much older and I can see the distinct difference between them. Dad only walked as his form of exercise and among other health complications is fully wheelchair bound. Mom has her own issues but has always been more active in the garden etc and morning exercises and you can see she is still fully mobile. Caring for both often leaves me drained and your exercises have helped me in caring for my dad and his limited mobility. More importantly, your videos have helped me to IMPROVE my health making my life so much better. I can navigate stairs and I've never been able to squat until I started following your exercises. I watch your back pain follow along exercises religiously so I'd love it if you did this as a leg follow along video too. Take good care. Loyal sub for life!
This video is great for someone of any age who has sits a lot during the day for work (or choice). I already do a ton of walking every day, but this helps wake up the booty in a different way. Thank you so much! Felt super good 😀
Matt, I just signed up yesterday and so excited to see videos for ONLY members (not fans - LOL). You are the best on UA-cam and I am sticking with you! Also do not see myself as a senior but might be counted as one if I were to share the dreaded numbers that started to show up in the past few years of breathing. Thanks Matt for all you do.
I’d love a follow along video. I injured my knee while gardening and haven’t done much for a month other than some mild stretching. This series of lower body exercises are just what I need. Thank you!
Oh, wow! Those hip circles are the perfect antidote to a long stretch of sitting at my computer doing tax returns! They feel really good, even though I can clearly feel my leg muscles working. They're now my new favorite movement break activity!
I would love to have a follow along to share with my mother. Thank you so much for your work, and my heart goes out to you as you move forward after the loss of your parents.
Hi Matt, it would help if You mentioned how vital it is to engage the core muscles when doing all these exercises, as it protects the lower back. Great video full of important and varied exercises 👍🏼
