To respond to your other comment on the Missing Link video, I've been heavily considering quitting ever since the begging of the year, simply because I've had the realization that I've been putting so much hours and effort into my videos only for them to not get the traction I think they deserve. I'm not trying to guilt trip anyone by saying this, it's just more a personal frustration I've had with this channel. I'm starting to believe spending all this time on videos is just a waste. We will see what the future wholes but I do have a backlog of stuff planned for this year and next year. If anything though I'm still proud of all the videos I made and am happy that they have that timeless feel to them; they'll always still be a good watch years from now.
I have the studio series and love it, but this video actually makes me want to buy the brave commander and hope i win the qc lottery, probably not for 90 bucks though. Great review as always! Love your style!

Studio Series' 112 Prime in my opinion is great, it's small and affordable, but I can't deny that Leader CLASS Optimus Prime looks cool also, especially that Vehicle mode
Optimus Prime review with Doors Music? Killer! Also, I would not sleep on the SS Deluxe. The grey is only really bad on the arms and midriff, but the plastics arre more consistent and there is nust a feeling of solidity. He has his issues but for little deluxe they aren't that bad

Just saw the movie, and so glad I preordered this one day one, despite the Q/C issues. Bottom line is Hasbro doesn't even come close to properly representing this iteration of Orion Pax prime in SS let alone Mainline. I may have gone with SS but the throwaway guns, and ugly brown/grey plastic were immediate deal breakers. While agreed, Takara could have probably done a lot better here for the price point it's still the best option outside of a non transforming version. Could have sworn he had an ion canon at the end of the movie so where's his ion canon? That final Megatron design definitely deservers the Brave Commander treatment at some point. Great music choice.
I have to agree! This one definitely looks better than Studio Series. I would like Takara to do a Brave Commander style Megatron too but I’m doubtful since they usually don’t make a Megatron either their “leader” Primes. Thank you! The Doors are awesome!
Indeed, I feel bad your you guys outside Japan- I’m here for years now and no one does TF like Takara; I barely collect any Hasbro releases for years now like some great Studio Series and the Haslab Unicron.
Oof, those loose shoulder joints/inability to hold the axe really hurts - surely there's a way to fix it? I'm still tempted to get him when he releases here (I can custompaint/fix nub-marks and basic "gunpla" shenanigans but not sure on how to tackle loose joints with TFs (need special tools for the pins n teeny tiny screwdrivers.)
I got him but without all the qc issues, no loose shoulder, wrist only slightly move when i attach the axe, but overall not too bad. And i got him around RM230 (8000yen). Its still do be expensive but idk i still like him tho hahahh. Wish he got more articulation

I know the Studio Series looks a bit ugly with the strange bronze (which is actually accurate to the original models, no matter how weird it looks) but mine has only 1 QC issue: the chest doesnt properly tab in, which could actually be my own fault. For a Deluxe hes big, his joints are tight but dont feel like theyre going to break, hes very articulated and the alt mode is really nice to compare to Animated Optimus, which might be one of many inspirations. Im sure hell look even better when the other characters come out, but yeah, hes good and he seems way more worth it than the Takara version
I think the colors are what's holding him back because he does look and pose phenomenally. Definitely think he's worth his price more than Brave Commander is. It would be funny if Takara brought back the Premium Finish line for the dead to make a better looking, more expensive deluxe prime lol
Yes. I already preordered Super Ginrai. As for God Bomber, I am debating on whether to get the special edition and if I do, whether to order it on Amazon JP or directly through Takara Tomy Mall now that I live in Japan.
I'd rather spend $25 on a great smaller figure that has a kinda ugly grey color that I got used to pretty quickly then spend $80 on this. $80 is way to much for the figure. $60 is pushing the most I'd even consider paying. I'm good with the Studio Series for now
I was about to say man, you are nitpicking the hell out of this thing, even the fact that you see through the arm gap on the back of the cab in vehicle mode, i mean really? What did you expect this guy costs not that far from the mainline figure, then you mentioned hasbro sells it to you for 80usd? Thats a lot. I ordered it in my country(phils) for 2.8k pesos(1k pesos more than retail mainline figures here) and 2.8k is almost half your 80usd. So, i guess you are expecting much naturally from something so expensive. But i think you are expecting a little too much. Some of your complaints are non-issues to me or probably many people, but hey, each their own. I enjoy you get to be funny while not being Jobby-annoying, i cannot take that level of adhd format editing. So kudos and to more videos
