These are nice looking Rifles but long term durability has been an issue for me (I returned one to the Shop I got it from and now the replacement is having the same accuracy issues as the first, which was due to an internal component cracking). Also, your erratic group with the Iron sights may be to do with the fact that back sight is mounted on the dovetail (mine would slowly move backwards after a few shots) which is no good for accuracy (I have a HW99 which has the back sight firmly fixed and it's very accurate with open sights) and a tip for loading, return the underlever before inserting the Pellet into the pop up Breech, it makes things far less awkward when loading.
I bought an HW 57 177 and it shoots all over the target , it’s very hard to get it to shoot consistently and it’s very pellet sensitive I found the best pellet is a Bisley Practice, I bought it cos it was cheaper, I didn’t think it would bother me that it wasn’t pinpoint accurate but it does. There’s lots I Like about it , it’s light it’s small and I like the way it loads, but wish I bought something more accurate.
Very very nice 🙂👍. I was looking at the HW57 at Krale, but chose the HW30s instead. Hopefully it's in the State's by now. Ps what do you wipe the stock down with?
As you’re from Germany, I guess you shoot with 7,5 joules right? I’m living in Budapest, with a legislation at 7,5 joules. I went to the shop this morning, I’m hesitating between the HW95 and HW57. I want to shoot with open sigh
Got this rifle in the mail coming to me now.
So excited!!!! 😊 🤗 🤪
