I love how rob was consistently saying "everyone is so nice" and Arno is like "there was a lot of fighting" "someone pulled my leg" "someone farted in my face"
Rob, Arno...YOU ARE AN IRONMAN! What an amazing video that captures the true IRONMAN spirit. Congratulations to you both on your amazing achievements, enjoy the recovery and we'll see you soon!
Dude I was crying when Arno crossed the line… I feel like we have all been with them from the start and just waiting for the moment they finish! Fucking amazing 🤩
I have always admired Ironmen. The first time I watched this video was 4 months ago, and it convinced me to immediately sign up for one myself. I am now 12 weeks into training, and I am doing my Ironman in June 2024. I love coming back to this video and watching you finish, as it is truly magnificent and emotional. Thank you Rob and Arno for inspiring me to embark on my own journey towards (hopefully) being an Ironman. Congratulations! Cheers from Denmark.
I am the only one that wanted to cry so many times during this video? My eyes are watering up constantly... So much love and dedication! We are all so proud for you! Greetings from a Croat living in Germany that follows two epic Belgian guys!
I heard you were being called out when I was waiting for my start and found you this way! It was my first Ironman, too and you captured the emotions so so so well. I didn't bring my filming crew ;) but I'm so thankful that you did and I can go back and look at this video and feel all the emotions again! congrats ironman!
“And here he comes, not so average anymore. Rob Van Impe , YOU ARE AN IRONMAN.” This whole thing inspired me to be a better athlete especially Arno. Thank you for making these videos and congratulations to you both on becoming Ironmen. Honestly never thought i’d cry watching a youtube video, but I really did need this. Thank you
I bet so many people doubted you two. "These guys are too unfit, they are not even serious people". MAN does it feel good to see you two finish. Seriously Inspirational.
I have had a lot of success in triathlon and racing and do not see much worth learning from the majority of videos on UA-cam. I’ve seen and read every expert talk about every little thing about triathlon and listened to every motivational speaker, yet none of them can match Rob and Arno in this video. They show the excitement, the fear, the optimism, the doubt, the hard work, the laughs, the tears, the pain, and the joy. This is the real story of what racing is all about and should be essential viewing for anyone looking to give racing a try. Instead of some “experts” telling you what to do, watch these two - I do before every single race to keep it real.
The way they cared about each other during the whole race, the will to keep going through the pain, the love from everyone, this is a complete masterpiece. This is so captivating, inspiring and awesome. They must be counted in the Belgian personalities of the year, no doubt on it 🙌 Congrats Arno & Rob ❤
I do ultra endurance sports, and I can totally relate to this "crying for no reason" state when totally wasted. It is the weirdest mix between pain and pure happiness. Congrats to you both, you had what it takes, and once you know it, it changes your life!
Incredible achievement guys, holy shit. I got emotional at the end there, it's honestly insane that you guys managed to get fit enough for this in only 8 months and not completely destroy your bodies (I hope). I can't even imagine how endless this triathlon must feel.
Arno is so amazing, coming such a long way to prove that anything is possible with a good mindset and a lot of dedication. Arno, from one fatty, to one who used to be, you're a legend and an inspiration!
Finished the Ironman Austria yesterday in memory of my dad. Seeing your dad going strong gave me energy and motivation to keep going. What an absolute legend… wishing him a quick recovery. Congratulations Ironmen! Thank you for spreading positivity.
You guys are absolute machines. Thank you so much for the inspirational video. Your whole journey motivated me to sign up for my first ultra marathon next summer. You are the best and you deserve all the success you got on youtube and way more
it is outstanding what you achieved. Just found this channel and I am so thankful for it. This was better then any netflix series or whatever.. loved every second of it!! The way you care about your brother... Pure love
The looks you guys gave each other between 8:15 and 8:36 are the whole video for me, you worked and trained so hard, you both felt confident but still with that little something of fear, nervousness, stress and adrenaline combined before the race, all I saw is a little brother cheering his big brother, and I saw a big brother concerned and caring for his baby brother, thank you guys for the inspiration, and what a montage Milan delivered. The eyes chico, they never lie.
I am 8 weeks out from my first full distance ironman, i started this journey at 120kg and sit at 80kg now i can relate to this on so many level you guys are inspirations and the whole pre race part got me so hyped! congrats guys well done !!!!!!!
Wow! 120 - 80kg!!! Congrats, that's impressive! I'm 100 trying to get to 80kg. I know you're going to finish the Ironman! Best of luck and regardless of what happens, you will always be a winner!
Holy shit gasten. Waanzinnige challenge. Wat moeten jullie nu dan nog doen? Kan er niet bij met mijn hoofd. Ongelofelijk trots. Groetjes uit Nederland!!!
I went from not knowing who you were this morning to watching your entire IronMan Journey (plus a ton of other vids). You guys have a great style of making videos. Subscribed for sure and can't wait to see what the future holds for these two IRONMEN!!! CONGRATS!
I discovered your channel with the first video of the ironman training. Since I binged your videos and thought fuck it, I wanna do something great too. Now I'm working on my training to one day run a marathon. I know it is not as ambitious as your amazing goal, but you guys really motivated me to get to that goal. Watching this video made me ugly cry to see how far you guys have gone.
Congratulations guys, you are warriors! Just finished my first Ironman in Nice last week-end, I thought so much about you guys, you are a true source of inspiration! And thank you Milan for the editing, it transmits so much emotion!!
I watched the series last year and it gave me the motivation to sign up for an ironman in 2024. I am now less than 3 months away from my race and I'm rewatching the series to keep me sharp during the last months of training. I can honestly say that it has already changed my life! Thanks Rob and Arno for sharing this journey with us! I'm sure hundreds of people, will become ironman thanks to you.
What an epic adventure! Have been feeling for you guys for the last half year. Goosbumps from beginning to end... Also kudos to Milan for filming and editing. This piece deserves multiple oscars. Mucho respect!
Damn I’m so proud of you guys. I was emotional throughout the video so I can’t imagine how strong those emotions were on the day. I’ve followed your journey from the start as I was interested in triathlons and you’ve definitely inspired me to become an iron (wo)man one day.
Literally found the channel searching "Begium food" and my wife and I have been watching this ever since. This was amazing and us in Australia have been cheering you on ever since. I hope you went and drank all the beers in Belgium - you deserve it!
The beauty of this video is how it shows that average people CAN do hard things! Well done and so proud of you 😁😭 You two deserve all the success that comes your way. I hope you continue on with your fitness journey whether or not it remains in triathlon ❤️
This is the best thing about running/tri the community is nothing but positive. Everyone just wants to see everyone else succeed. Always immense out pouring of encouragement and love from strangers who just want you to get there
Next time someone tells me what you are trying to achieve is impossible, I will think about you guys and how you became legends in only 8 months. Massive respect to our Belgium brothers!!! ❤
Chapeau boys! Ongelofelijk.
Prachtig in beeld gebracht. En Arno, keep up the good work!
Rob and Arno, this is so inspiring for me. I’ve done a half Ironman distance triathlon but I’m too scared to do the full at this stage. Watching you guys pushing through the pain… I’m going to do it. 😎
You guys accomplished something 0.001 percent of people ever accomplished that’s incredible. I’ve been watching you guys for years and this was the last thing I thought you guys would do after watching you eat 500 Fry's and beers
Echt buitengewoon gepresteerd.
Wauw wauw wauw. Jullie mentaliteit is echt bizar.
Mad respect! ❤
Man this brings me back to my emotions on my first 70.3 last week. I will push through to the full one. For the 70.3 I lost 20 kilos in a year and with no endurance background finished in 5:33. A full one is such an amazing feat, speechless.
Good job Iron Rob en Iron Kid :D
Man what have you done to me. When I saw the video in June, I decided I have to try it too, now I already have a 1/8 sprint and an Olympic completed, you got me hooked up. Let's fucking go!
I am so proud of you guys. I know 8 months ago that i had a whole conversation with rob if he could do it. I said if you keep training you can. And now you did it, proud is a understatement
Dikke proficiat jongens! Massive respect Milan film & editskills make us feel the emotions as if we were right there with you guys You make me wanna get out my couch and go for a run 💪🏼

Everything is perfect in this video: the cut, the choice of music, the atmosphere, the motivation, the people and the message! You are an inspiration ❤
I'm currently watching the video about 50 times. Whenever I'm indoors on my bike, this video is the biggest motivation for me. I've currently gone from 15KM at the beginning to 60KM, which I can now ride. Thank you both for the inspiration. And hopefully I'll see you at an Ironman next year! On met la patate!!!
I've never been more proud of people I've never met. Lekker bezig boys!
exact dit 😂❤

Couldn’t put how I felt watching it better! So emotional
Same 😂😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭
The power of sportmarketing ook.
I love how rob was consistently saying "everyone is so nice" and Arno is like "there was a lot of fighting" "someone pulled my leg" "someone farted in my face"
Rob: “I dropped my Bidon, which is not good.”
Arno: “Someone dropped his bidon and it rolled down the road, so I had to do ninja skills to dodge it.”
😂😂😂😂
How Rob cares and asks all the time for his brother speaks a lot about him. So proud of you 👏🎉
Other way around as well
I also care
They way they kept asking about eachother was honestly so sweet
Rob, Arno...YOU ARE AN IRONMAN! What an amazing video that captures the true IRONMAN spirit.

Massive respect
Milan film & editskills make us feel the emotions as if we were right there with you guys
You make me wanna get out my couch and go for a run 💪🏼

Everything is perfect in this video: the cut, the choice of music, the atmosphere, the motivation, the people and the message! You are an inspiration ❤
I'm currently watching the video about 50 times.
Whenever I'm indoors on my bike, this video is the biggest motivation for me.
I've currently gone from 15KM at the beginning to 60KM, which I can now ride.
Thank you both for the inspiration.
And hopefully I'll see you at an Ironman next year!
On met la patate!!!
