Clearly you’ve never used one of those because after the first two started fires, I just ate my chili macs cold for the rest of my career. There are horror stories about people using them inside their clothes to stay warm and catching fire as well.

Alright here goes. So this like was 8th grade and they were testing various chemicals pH or something, and at the end they just poured them all down the drains (at once). Turns out that one of those chemicals was ammonia, and another was bleach, so the 8th graders made a bunch of mustard gas in the sinks. The friend mentioned "Hey, that's mustard gas, that's not the safest." And the teacher just goes "That's why you wear safety goggles." like those would protect you from your lungs melting. So that must've been a fun day.
