I absolutely love my PC 9. It is fun to shoot and accurate as heck. I highly recommend it. MCarbo is a great company too. I have been buying stuff for my Kel Tec Sub 2000 from them for years. Always great service and great accessories.
Ruger with what they have come out with lately should be a top pick for gun manufacturer of the year. On a second note your sight cost more than the firearm!! not that's a bad thing. With out upgrades of course. This is going to be my PCC for uspsa.

I’m also a big fan of M*CARBO. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with them. They are definitely a shining example of what companies should be like. I saw someone make a comment that they are too expensive... to that my reply is you get what you pay for. It’s not cheap developing, manufacturing, and selling quality limited scope components while making a profit to stay in business. Kudos to you and M*CARBO!

Ive used a bunch of mccarbo parts over last few years /great parts /great service /great company and its vetren owned !!
Have the standard factory model. Added the MCARBO bundle. The difference was amazing. With glock magazines, will fill a lot of roles. Would love to see what if anything MCARBO could do with a after market stock or foregrip.
I have a Ruger PC9. I did get MCARBO up grade parts. The hd buffer and spring, The muzzle brake and the extended mag release and the extended charging handle. That really helped the stock gun a great deal. The gun shoots smoother and generally more handy. A note about the extended mag. release, If you bump it against anything the mag will fall out of the gun. However it is better than the standard release you just need to be aware. I have the full stock model. I love this weapon.
I got the first generation PC9, and I still love it today. Only think I changed is replacing the forend with a midwest industries handguard.

"shoot more and more" ...this came out right before i got mine...and right before the price of 9mm freedom beans went to almost $1/per round. Love mine though. Im a new 2A family member and this seems like the perfect adult entry level freedom stick. add a red dot and double the fun.

M carbo stopped making the spring upgrade and the improved buffer didn't work on my 40 cal without the stiffer spring, still used every other part they make for this pcc and haft to say mcarbo is a great company
I have this "chassis" carbine with ALL the M*CARBO upgrades and many MAGPUL parts and a TACCOM machined Delrin flared mag well and ambi lever replacement safety. A Midwest Industries folding stock hinge on an aftermarket recoil tube.
->As well I put a HOLOSUN AEMS circle/dot sight. It is an excellent sight for a PCC with proven ruggedness (see Sage Dynamics UA-cam drop tests) and FAR better battery life than EOTECH sights but with similar night vision capability and a much lower price with equal quality. MY AEMS SIGHT IS MOUNTED ON THE BARREL PIC RAIL. Never gets out of zero with barrel removals/replacements.
** The AEMS mount was a bit too high so I got a MAGPUL MOE 1/4" high cheek piece. This cheek piece snapped into place very firmly and NOW I have perfect eye-to-reticle alignment. A fast and easy solution. No new AEMS base needed.

I noticed at the 9:14 mark, when you attached the two sections, the bolt slammed closed. I've also noticed this issue on RPCCs that I've handled, and had the bolt drop on a feed lip and caused it to spur. Luckily it hasn't affected feeding, and I'm sure it will get filed down by the owner. So anytime I'm using one of these now, I always have one hand on the bolt in case it drops. It seems to be when there's any sort of 'bump contact' to the rifle.
I love my Ruger PC Carbine...and intend to get the Ruger PC Charger....but ya the carbine is heavy...I would love to see the PC without the take down feature because I'll never use it for what it's for......that would make the PC quite a bit lighter....and I'd jump on that one immediately. Ruger make the PC without the take down...
A lot of the weight that gives it a muzzle heavy feel is in the bolt. Shoulder the carbine with bolt in rearward position and front end feels noticably lighter. I wonder if they could lighten the bolt without compromising reliability.
Finally found one few weeks back worth every penny I bought this same model. They had the performance model for 699 at lgs also had the standard model for 569

don smith check out the Holosun HS510C. It’s similar in function but more affordable. I love mine.
Excellent video, great combo kit. I wouldn’t use the extended bolt handle because of it digging into you or the extended magazine release because of an increase in inadvertent magazine drops.
Still a great set, I just wouldn’t use the parts I didn’t want to put on the carbine.
Wouldn’t it be faster if you had the charging handle on your support side?
I bought the original model in 2018. Ejection became sluggish after 500 rnds so I put in MCARBO extractor and it's been flinging them way out ever since.
the Eotech on top of the chassis PC Carbine looks straight up like a sci fi gun.

I've recently bought a PC9 carbine, ordered a few components as I bought the non tactical model ( I like the plain jane version ) and I live in a state where threaded barrels are not legal so the entire kit would have a component or two not being used, but I did order some components. Curious about this specific thing on " out running " the gun though.

Replace the extractor and the pins, down fall of this rifle is factory extractor wears out fast and doesn’t have much of a deep wide groove. Stove pipes and failure to extract was a huge problem for mine.
Noticed carbine owned since 2018 ejection became sluggish after 500 rnds till I got a failure to eject. But it's run like a top since I installed MCARBO extractor and bolt pin set.
my buddy got the charger version and put a sb tactical triangle folder on it. really solid feel! he has to run the charging handle on the right side though since it folds
if i werent already super invested in the scorpion i would get the charger myself since i already have a bunch of glock mags...and i really like the take down ability

Would be nice if there was a way to get iron sights on that thing or extend the pitcanny rail down the length of the entire barrel.
You can mount pitcanny rails on the hand guard and and mount iron sights to it.
I really need to get my hands on one before the gun grabbers outlaw this one too.

Zach cash yeah man sub2000 brand new is maybe 400. Stripped bare scorpion is 700+, same w the stribog.

hi i have a question for you i have a pc9 how did you mount your eotech i bought a eotech 518 with the quick release it wont fit the picatinny rail is to big its not a standered picatinny ruger made it a little bit larger i don't have the pistol grip version it's the 19116 model
read somewhere the eotech (mainly XPS2) wasn't compatible with the PCC rail? Any advise team?
did you ever had to swap the ejector of ruger magwell to glock magwell for ejection reliability?

Just ordered my pc c last week, I think it’s beautiful.
The upgrade kit is a big pill to swallow considering it costs more than half of what I paid for my PC carbine new. I'm interested in is only the trigger if it's greatly improved and the part that makes over-running the bolt impossible. How much weight does all of those upgrades add to the rifle?
You can buy a trigger kit or a new trigger assembly for this weapon. I think I got mine from MidwayUSA.
So, just a terminology question. What does it mean to outrun the rifle? ie:dead trigger?
