Some sound advice , work on your backing , being able to back successfully at shippers and receivers is vital. Also no matter where you load regardless of if they have scales always get to a CAT scale , always move towards the problem area when shifting to get your load legal. Take your time out there don’t get in a rush …..that will get you in all kinds of problems. You are gonna be just fine out there. Be safe and keep the shiny ✨ side up driver.
@Alex - Dude, you need some shortcuts. 1. Needle nose vise grips. - Set trailer brake - Pull slide pin release - Fasten Vise Grips at base of Pin Release so it cannot retract - Set and release trailer parking brake as required without leaving the cab. Use Trailer Spike to hold tandems in place while sliding - Remove Vise Grips when finished. 2. Get a wheel spinner. Its so much more comfortable, and easier to back up on the fly. 3. Move your grip on the landing gear crank up an elbow.
