    Paint removal from concrete
Watch this & how to remove paint from the sidewalk. This is an easy way to remove paint from concrete. I use acetone and paint thinner to clean spray overspray in my driveway. Will it work to remove the stain from an old diy project? Find out! I also revisit a previous clean-up job I did using acetone alone and now add paint thinner to clean-up the residual.

Used the acetone and steel brush for black latex solid stain splatter and it worked like magic! Sprayed with water after and no chalky look. Thank youuuu!!!

Ah ha! Here it is... glad you did part 2. Do you think it was the brush or the paint thinner that had the most impact? I'm also thinking that whether you used acetone or paint thinner, in both cases the paint has no where to go and paint doesn't evaporate. So... perhaps if you hit it with a high power hose immediately after you soaked it and scrubbed it, the paint would run off into the grass and not dry back onto the rocks again? Idk. Did you hose it down immediately, or wait until afterwards?

Good observations! I waited to hose down but your method may have worked better, faster. Maybe back and forth with solution, scrub, hose, repeat would of done the trick. Thanks for the input!😀

Wow! That was so awesome. When me moved into our new home, there was paint in front of the garage... I will let you know how this goes.

Goodluck! I hope it works fir you. Get the sturdiest brush available for best results and pour solution liberally. Be sure to wash with strong water burst after scrubbing. May take a few rounds of this.

I see you’re back at it looks like the acetone did a better job a spray wash might help a little more.

Yup, might have to invest in/rent a power washer.

I knew once you said you had a fix for the concrete, you were going to come through.. I wasn't sure how, but I knew you were not going to let the concrete to get the best of you, and it did not. Nice outcome.

The best, fastest and easiest way, use a lot of hot water and scrub with a strong brush and finish without using acetone or any other chemical.

    • @HomeFix19

Non-chemical is always preferred for sure. Thnx for watching.

🤔Not sure about white patch removal. Hopefully, a few good, hard rains or a power washer will handle it.
