  • Robbi Jade Lew spoke with me on Day 2 of my Garrett vs Robbi investigation and she talked about why she decided to give the money back to Garrett Adelstein after the hand ended. This is the 2nd interview I had with Robbi with the first one coming on Day 1...
    Robbi has been accused of cheating by Garrett Adelstein during a recent episode of Hustler Casino Live! The investigation has went on for days and no hard evidence has been located in the footage. We are currently waiting to hear more from Garrett and the investigation to come from Hustler Casino Live.

    I have gone back and forth on this because I doubt it can be proven one way or the other that she cheated. But I keep getting stuck on this one point. The main argument against cheating seems to be she thought he was bluffing and had in her head that if he was bluffing she would win (regardless of her holding). That she was too inexperienced to realize J was not good 99% of the time even against a bluff. I would understand that if she was a total beginner, but looking at her history she has won decent sized tournaments and made day 4 of the main event. Anyone at that skill level would have to fold even if they though Garrett was bluffing.

    • @Jedsmxth27
      @Jedsmxth27 Рік тому +2

      I completely agree with this! Her calling his bluff, without cheating, means she it putting Garrett on exactly the hand he has because 99% of his other bluffs are ahead of her and she even admitted she thought he had Ace high which she loses too, obviously. The length of time and amount of times she checks her cards suggests to me she didn’t misread her hand but again that could just be a complete beginner’s mistake. But then again she’s not a complete novice at the game and has tournament background. I’m so mind boggled on which side I sway towards on this

    She's massively playing the vulnerable woman card - it's putrid to listen to, when she's being called out for something that looks really, really fishy to anyone with an ounce of commonsense at poker. She had no business being there on the flop, let alone calling off on the turn, and with not even a reasonable bluff catcher.
    Her defence now is that Garrett was "angry as hell"!? - he was enormously restrained at the table. He has her pretty obviously cheating him to his face, while giving him the rub down afterwards, then trying to defend it with the biggest lot of bs (I thought I had a "3", which has been discredited in multiple ways), the loss of over 100k to contend with, and a guy sat there to his immediate right chuckling at his misfortune - all the while knowing that he's being watched being cheated on a livestream that millions will subsequently watch.
    Her tanking in spots where it doesn't make sense to, in this hand and others posted, screams that she's being fed rudimentary info on whether her hand is good or bad. What's likely happened is that, being fed that information, she's used it in a way that doesn't make any sense - she hasn't been clever with the info. In the same way as she potentially didn't use the information optimally in the A8 AK hand.

      @@woodstock7799 he just explained it lol, it’s called sunk cost fallacy wherein unseasoned gamblers might risk it, even if it’ll statistically incur more losses than stopping.
      From what point do you want him to speculate on an imagined outcome? Because you’re really just speculating entirely. In observed reality, the circumstances combined with her informed decisions led to a win, however unlikely, stupid or absurd.
      So what hypotheticals are needed? Are you assuming she should’ve folded when reading her cards, or at the end after Garrett’s raised the call to all-in? What cheating method could explain her actions, either she only knew Garretts cards, or she was in collusion with the dealer and knew both Garretts cards and the river cards.
      But these require different cheating methods; if it’s “simple” RFID scan she’d know Garretts cards sure, but in that case why’d she cheat on such a sketchy hand? Why not play it safer?
      If collusion, RFID scanners aren’t enough, so what method was used to cheat between her and the dealer?
