Thank you. I just began watching your channel tonight, and I love it more than so many channels. TY for being concise, clear, and talking just the right amount of time. In the U.S. we don't all have money, but with your teachings from the East we can do so much! I watch 100 gardening hacks, 14 vegetable plants from the store or cuttings, neem oil solution, and a maybe another. You're the best of maybe 50 people I've watched! TY so much!
i never knew most of these, specially the last one with wax sealing of rose cuttings has a logic and should work. thanks for this wonderful video on how to grow rose cuttings.
one of the best channels I've seen on rooting my roses. wish I'd known about the candle sealing before I rooted my roses. but they've grown two plus feet anyway, what with my using some of your other methods. you are really great with plants. thank you sir. 👍
I live in zone 7, made my cutting in July, rooted it in potting soil in a covered container in my home, then planted outside mid September. I mulched with fine fir wood shavings. We have snow for several months. When the snow melted, I added more wood chips and covered it with a cheap large clear glass vase as a choche. When we were past hard frosts in April, I took the vase off. It is doing great!
The best that has worked for me is the water & rooting method. Alway scrape the bottom before rooting powder. I change water & do rooting power over in 3 days.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge ❗️ If you will, may I input a suggestion to pour out rooting powder instead of dipping your cutting into it, thus avoiding contamination on the rest of unused powder.
Thanks for sharing I don't have any idea regarding gardening but my grandparents love this field. The info and tips would be very handy for them .Rharesh a medical college boy.

Hello .. All your videos are simple and very informative... Just one request can you please mention the best time to grow the cuttings... It will be very helpful
I have always struggled in succeeding to grow rose from cuttings. But these tips for growing rose plant from cutting look very promising. Thanks for sharing these tips. One question: Will it not burn the rose stem at the tip if you pour candle wax on rose cutting?
True Religion thanks. It’s infact useful to successfully root Rose cuttings if you seal off open wounds which prevents moisture evaporation from rose stem cuttings.
Sir - Seeing your video I am trying out the rose stem propagation. After 48hrs of keeping the stem inside the ventilated plastic cover in shade - when should the gradual sunlight exposure to be done to the new shoots in the stem.
Please remove that covering after 48 hours else fungus will come. Now Keep in a shady cool place with indirect light and good air flow, like on a window sil outside. It will take time for rooting even though leaves arrive. Do not over water else risk or rot.
thank u so much for making this video. i had been trying to grow roses but it doesnt root. will try your method. but are the cups that you place inside sealed container have holes at the bottom? thx again
Hello there.thanks for sharing this video..its my first time to plant a rose cuttings...just wanna ask if whats the other option of epsom salt if i dont have any?
(1) How long will it take to grow reasonable rooting following this method ? (2) Is there any specific season or time-period in a year to do this cutting ?
@@GardenTips Thanks for the response. I have watched this video keenly and felt that these two points would make it complete. You may edit it to include these two inputs in video itself. Thanks and regards.
Yes it should. If you block air circulation for a long time fungus develops.sorry I didn't mention that in this older video. I have discussed somewhere in my newer vids.
@@GardenTips, can I plant Tea Roses in Malaysia where the temperatures can reach 35C? Any advice on how to grow them or can they not be grown here? Only sun and rain all year round, no four seasons! 😁
Thank u so much for the tips.. i used aloevera as a rooting hormone but my rose cutting all turned black and woody..pls help..how long should i keep covered in a plastic bag?? After seeing few buds n tiny leaves i exposed the cutting but after 3 to 4 days it went black all over..
Keep it covered only max 2 days else fungus will develop. Or you can put a polythene cover and make some tiny holes for air circulation and prevent fungus.
Hi...I was able to get roots on my rose cutting but when I transferred them to another pot the stem started to turn brown and leaves yellow. What can i do to save my cuttings which just had started to grow successfully? Thanks
Sealing root cut tips with melted candle wax which is petroleum end product commonly available
Rather beeswax or oil should be used for same purpose
Thanks for the tips.

Never in direct sun. Keep in shade.
thank u so much for making this video. i had been trying to grow roses but it doesnt root. will try your method.
but are the cups that you place inside sealed container have holes at the bottom? thx again
Thanks. Yes drainage holes are must for any plant or cutting otherwise it will rot .
You could also sterilise the soil in a microwave or oven or steamer. May smell but it can help reduce the chance of cutting rotting.
Thanks for this tip - 👌
Thankyu so...so....much😇😇
