    Thank you. I just began watching your channel tonight, and I love it more than so many channels. TY for being concise, clear, and talking just the right amount of time. In the U.S. we don't all have money, but with your teachings from the East we can do so much! I watch 100 gardening hacks, 14 vegetable plants from the store or cuttings, neem oil solution, and a maybe another. You're the best of maybe 50 people I've watched! TY so much!

    I live in zone 7, made my cutting in July, rooted it in potting soil in a covered container in my home, then planted outside mid September. I mulched with fine fir wood shavings. We have snow for several months. When the snow melted, I added more wood chips and covered it with a cheap large clear glass vase as a choche. When we were past hard frosts in April, I took the vase off. It is doing great!

    One question: Will it not burn the rose stem at the tip if you pour candle wax on rose cutting?

    • @GardenTips

      True Religion thanks. It’s infact useful to successfully root Rose cuttings if you seal off open wounds which prevents moisture evaporation from rose stem cuttings.

    Sir - Seeing your video I am trying out the rose stem propagation. After 48hrs of keeping the stem inside the ventilated plastic cover in shade - when should the gradual sunlight exposure to be done to the new shoots in the stem.

    • @GardenTips
      @GardenTips  4 роки тому

      Please remove that covering after 48 hours else fungus will come. Now Keep in a shady cool place with indirect light and good air flow, like on a window sil outside. It will take time for rooting even though leaves arrive. Do not over water else risk or rot.

  • @Sreeja1820

  • @ark01000

    You could also sterilise the soil in a microwave or oven or steamer. May smell but it can help reduce the chance of cutting rotting.
