I live vicariously through you Miki YOU ARE KILLING ITTTTT
“The world is full of nice people. If you can’t find one, be one.” Sharing some love and positivity from small UA-camr.
You’ve seriously made me considered becoming a nurse, Thankyou Miki 3> P:S love your videos
@Kosmos you’re not miki
Don’t do it, it’s a trap 😂
So you re going to be nurse?
@@KatherineH_13 bruh why would it be a trap?
@@famknol8822 nursing is shiiiiit I’ve done 24 hour shifts
That’s actually a really cool device. As a nurse as well, I feel like I teach my patients how to give their meds at home but I feel like they aren’t that competent, so for sure this machine can help.
My uncle is Down syndrome and has carers who come in twice a day to check on him and help him with things he needs. His friend had been staying with him and the carers have been prompting both to have their meds, it’s taken a few years but my uncle had finally found a way for my uncle to take his meds in a way he understands. I
You and Kevin are soo cute together!! Your interactions always make me smile 💕
im a CNA and i know RN have a hard time at work...i dont know how these guys are doing it coming from work.. all i know i just wanna relax after work..but these guys are something
I just hope you guys love what you do because ever since I found what I love to do I hate weekends and can’t wait for it to be over, I’m glad I didn’t jump into college right after high school because that would of been worst mistake of my life! Take some time find what you like or love to do and do it don’t let others tell you what you should do! Life is to good to be stressed especially if your young!!
Thank you for showing a day in your life. I’m currently in school to work on the medical field. 🥺💜
Omg you’re grandparents are from Taiwan 🇹🇼😍 that’s so cool
Can't wait to visit again once the world opens up!!
@@mikirai there still isn't international flights to some places? wow
Wow that is so great. Taiwan is a nice place!
your* grandparents 😂

Love your videos and just always upfront with how the medical field is all that glamorous and there are a lot of things to consider when choosing what to do within that field. I’ve always been interested in doing something medical but was/still am wary of being rejected or not trusted because I have a disability. I think I’ve made my decision on what I’d like to do, but, I’ve always appreciate your videos for providing insight that wasn’t readily available. Thank you so much and keep up the great work on and off UA-cam.
your timing is amazing. i just got into nursing school for the fall. wish me luck🤪👩🏾⚕️
How’s it going?
good luck :)
I just graduated from senior high school and decided to go into nursing school, wish me luck tho 🙌🏻
Soon to be a nurse
Thank you for inspiring me💚
Really appreciate and love working with nurses. I work as a homehealth PT and yup they are awesome in what they do caring for patients.
Miki, you’re such an inspiration! I love these videos. I'm so excited to start my nursing program in August 👩🏻⚕️📚😭🙌🏼
Watching your video after my nursing interview in college is just really makes me think that I made the right decision 👍🏻
You’ve made me really wanna become a nurse, thankyou!
Visited Taiwan a few years ago with my family and we loved it. Beautiful country and beautiful people 🥰
i’m taking my NCLEX in a month… excited but so nervous. really don’t like bedside nursing so hopefully I can find something :(
good luck :)
Love my eye center days. I get out of the main OR and get to enjoy the upscale outpatient area with the posh optho's.
When i watch your vlog i feel more motivated to be a nurse
I remember being required to work 12 hour shifts.. I hated it 😕. I work three 8-hour shifts and I can never see myself going back to 12s unless it's two 12s per week, lol.
Hi! How many days are nurses required to work?
@@Piscesbitcx It depends where you work. In a hospital usually full time is 3 days, part time is 2 days, you can also work per diem which is once a week or more and each shift is 12 hours. Clinic nurses (depending on the clinic) work 5 days for 8 hours a day. Speciality clinics like heart transplant usually work 10 hour shift for 4 days for full time.
I don't know how people work that many hrs either... When do they find time to enjoy life? Id imagine that it's work, come home and go to bed. What a horrible existence that will soon be mine I'm assuming and I'm not sure how I will do it with serious mental health issues, but it's very, VERY hard to get disability. I've been waiting for eight yrs and I just don't see it happening for me anymore.
Where do you work ???
@@Fresharies one of the Kaiser Permanente Hospitals in the Sacramento area.
Hi Miki!! I just wanted to say that I LOVE your channel, I love your way of life, how upbeat and positive you are even when work gets you down, and you are stunning 💜 💜
What is your speciality Miki?? Not sure if you have mentioned it before
You guys looks so adorable together 😍😍...in love with your channel 😍
Omg that’s why my prescription hasn’t changed! I’m 23 almost 24
Hi Miki, What kind of outpatient nurse are you? Surgery? I too am trying to find alternatives to bedside nursing. I'm a new grad RN. But...it seems like most outpatient jobs require 1-year of bedside experience...
Just wanted to weigh in to give you some options as an RN! Most jobs outside of the hospital/bedside setting require you to have anywhere between 1-3 years of experience. I’ve been an RN for 3 years now and 2 of those years were spent doing bedside nursing. I work as a government contracted nurse now in an outpatient clinic and it was the best decision I could have made for myself! Contract nursing is definitely an option depending on where you live; outpatient surgery and similar settings are also good. Hope this helps and best of luck! 😁
Yeah girl! early on in nursing school i knew bed side nursing was not for me. im also graduating this december and im kinda nervy
Hi! Some hospitals have special perioperative internships for new grads and nurses who have never worked in surgery before!
Hey! I’m a new grad and was able to get an offer in an endoscopy clinic! Apply regardless of “requirements.” That’s what I did and I got a lot of outpatient settings to call me back!
Greetings from Taiwan! My grandparents also just had the vaccine (finally)🇹🇼🇹🇼🇹🇼
Miki is that super helpful big sister I never had
your relationship with your best friend is so cute!!
you guys look so cute with one another!! I love you both!!
I have been waiting for this kind of video!!!! I love you so much Miki, you’re such a role model 🤍

Keep up the good work! Btw I'm a murse ( male nurse ) here in Singapore..did 12 hours shifts for 4 months during lockdown last year.. its tough but we just embrace the suck..anyways u stay safe!
Bang on and on about the 12hr shifts and never mention the 4days of and never mention it's a 37.5hr-40hr week
1:41 Outpatient is literally the worst when it comes to patients and their patience (lol, pun not intended). Atleast in my 7 years experience in BC, Canada. I commend you, Miki!
Did you have to take a cert to get into your outpatient setting/specialty? Can’t wait to see your next vids!
I wanted to be a doctor but because of her i now want to be a nurse

LOVE YOU MIKI!!
ahhh this vlog was so cool!! thank you!!
Nice video!! 🙈 love seeing us nurses thrive
Can you tell us exactly what kind of outpatient nursing you do? I am an outpatient peritoneal dialysis and I love it!!!’
hi i’m thinking about starting a job in dialysis as a nurse new grad. do u have any advice? 😭😭
@@deergreentea2847 I started in dialysis as a new grad nurse. Then I went off and did other things…med surg/oncology/hospice and then came right back to dialysis. I love dialysis because it is so specialized. I actually found a hospital that did a Preceptorship for last semester nursing students and I purposefully picked dialysis as the unit to work In. I was able to get to know the manager and had his support so he hired me right out of school. But my dialysis clinic is ran by the hospital which is not common. So my advice would be to reach out to a dialysis center near you and see if you could shadow and have a conversation with the manager if you like it and tell them that you are interested. Dialysis clinics are always hiring nurses. But i suggest you shadow because it was way different than I thought it would be. Early mornings and lots of demands. I still love it though. You could even go in to acute hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis down the road. I’m never leaving.
Nurses are like the hidden heroes
I love you Mike as a greater nurse I wish in future life I am also be like you
FUTURE NURSE HERE YEY❤️❤️

Thanks Miki for this. After watching your video it made me actually think if i will pursue bedside or might as well do outpatient. Been a nurse for a decade now. Looking forward to more videos. Love lots! 😘

Have a good day! God bless❤️🙏🥰
Why Kevin in his phone named Miki cutie just her name ? Kevin question for you👆
You should call her like sweetie or something like that..😁
Why do I keep watching you two ?
Hi Miki! I’m going to be a senior in high school and am pursuing RN and I was wondering how long did it take you to become an Registered Nurse?
If you are already taking college credits in high school, it shouldn’t be more than 4 years.
If you’re going BSN (bachelors of science in Nursing) route, about 4 years unless you enroll in an accelerated program. There are other RN programs (without the bachelors degree) that can be 2 or less years. All depends on what works best for you 😊
In California, most programs are 2 years of prerequisites and 3 years of nursing school to get your bachelor’s.
Fans from Taiwan🇹🇼🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️
Your grandparents are in Taiwan 🇹🇼!?!
Me tooo!!!
I enjoy watching your videos. ❤️
Omg when I was in elementary I used to sing that it’s Friday Friday yeah it’s sad to sing it if you think of it cause we all wait til the weekend so that you can enjoy something fun 🥲
I LOVE ALL YOUR VIDEOS !!!
I work out patient GI as an RN. What is your typical day like at your job? What kind of procedures are performed there? Thanks so much!
You are beautiful nurse, miki
You are so beautiful I am working as a cna new cna my 3rd month
since youre still working 12 hour shifts, do you do 3-4 days a week still?
Hi, I love watching your videos because I wanna be a nurse
What kind of glasses tho blue screen glasses??
Please can you say what area you work in as an outpatient nurse? I see a lot of people keep asking...
Hii, loved the video.
What type of outpatient clinic is it?
hi guys! is becoming a nurse worth it? i'm considering it but i'm not sure if i should or not. thanks for any insight
I love nursing because there are so many different types of nursing jobs. I started off my career on a trauma unit at a level 1 hospital on night shifts - I learned a lot but hated my job (it just wasn’t for me). I went to outpatient cardiology and found the 4, 10 hour shift schedule and I absolutely loved my job. I recently started a new job helping to develop an outpatient amyloidosis clinic as a care coordinator and I love my role but work 5 8 hour shifts. There’s so many avenues you can go. But schooling can be expensive and exhausting. It might be worth it for me but not for someone else.
It can depend on the state whether it's worth it. Some states have low pay, high patients loads. In that case other jobs might be a better option. I'm in California where the pay is high and is the only state with a mandated max number of patients.
It seems like hospital nursing isnt :(
You’ve probably gotten this like a gazilion times but you’re a real Greys Anatomy Hospital worker person people human 😄
Also, you have great teeth😁
Your face is look like a korian actress.... So pretty..
Can someone tell me the brand of that scrubs? I see them on everybody but dont know the name. Waist part seem sooo comfy
