25 MILES offshore in our Pathfinder 2400

- We took our Pathfinder 2400 TRS almost 30 miles offshore in the Gulf of Mexico fishing for mahi, snapper, trigger fish and any other species we could hook.
The weather was beautiful all weekend with calm seas which allowed us to safely navigate the Gulf of Mexico out of St. Andrews in Panama City Beach, Florida. We caught grouper, red snapper, mangrove snapper, trigger fish, mahi, bonita, amberjack and vermilion snappers.

Looks like you guys had good box off fish. How far out were the Mahi?
They came by on the artificial reef we were on- about 23 miles out. Last weekend we got into them around 10 miles
how fast can you go with 2 foot waves at about 3 seconds apart? Wondering how the pathfinder can handle the chop.
Depending on wind and wave direction probably 25-30 if you trim it right. Good following sea maybe a little faster.

Loving it! Really continues to impress us with the versatility- shallow water to offshore. It’s a true hybrid and really like the deeper gunnels and extra weight this has compared to my 2200. 2.8 gph is not hard to achieve either.
Great video, like the drone shots. NEW SUB. We have small UA-cam channel Chasing My Asian Queen Fishing. We fish east coast of Florida out of Ft. Pierce inlet.
