    Can you do these same exercises for a bunionett??

      Yes absolutely! Basically the identical exercises but of course focus on the 5th toe. Massage underneath the outside of the foot also to release those tight bands of muscles

    My feet are like that, I use the method of putting my feet in mildly hot water and moving the toe outward, but I am afraid that the problem will aggravate because of my method, can you give me your opinion.
    In addition to all that, I do not understand English well enough, so can you open the subtitle option in the videos?🙏

      Yes, can do that. I think that method sounds quite reasonable.

    But what causes the swelling?

    • @freestylefeet2063
      @freestylefeet2063  Рік тому +1

      the swelling associated with a bunion is due to the joint being irritated and synovium and joint capsule swelling.

    Do you recommend orthotics or more of a "barefoot" shoe? Thank you for your time.

    • @freestylefeet2063
      @freestylefeet2063  Рік тому +1

      We actually regularly recommend both. Orthotics are really useful in certain cases for supporting structures or shifting forces away from a painful or overloaded area of the foot. in an ideal world however, we suggest orthotics might be useful short term and ideally we move past them, strengthen our muscles (including our arch muscles) and build up to tolerate forces without using them. Barefoot shoes are similar. If your feet are strong, supple and mobile barefoot shoes must be considered ideal... our challenge is getting people into them without causing a secondary problem. Long answer, but hopefully it helps - work out where you are at, in terms of strength, mobility and start there
