Yesssssss. I was thinking “who does she look like”. Literally get colored contacts and instant twins.
3-4 packs of hair (it really depends on how much big your parts are, how big you want them, no shade but head size as well) . Time also depends on the person . It would probably take me 3-6 hours ( that’s including breaks , eating , and procrastinating) .
Definitely trying this method! Seems easier and cheaper to just by the hair already in locs.
naturallychillpill Same! But even with the hair pre-locked, I had never seen someone just loop the loc into one of the strands of the braids. This is so much easier because you have to braid the hair anyway, plus it eliminates the need for a crochet hook.

So beautiful! I had actual locs from the age of 4-13 but I enddd up not liking them and cutting them off.
But now as in older and explore more natural hairstyles snd others, I’ve fallen in love with them again.

this style is so cute. I've been hesitant to get this style done on me because I've seen a lot of photos of these locs and sometimes there's just way too many locs on the head and it just looks super bulky. This is exactly how I want them to look.

whenever i finish wrapping my braid always unravels and you can see my real hair braid , do you have any tips or idea why this is happening ?
I am not sure your hair type but if you have a less kinky texture, add a bit if marley hair in your real hair braid.
add a rubber band soaked in oil (so it doesnt rip out your real hair) to the end of your braid!
Maybe make parts smaller or hair braid skinny enough to be able to be concealed Bc I had the same issue and now thinking back I should have braided skinnier part

Carriii in her last video she had 40 parts and used 3 1/2 packs so she probably just doubled them and used around 6 packs Hope this Helped!
