He hit him a couple of times on Sunday. I think Sam has gotten caught up with having the best receiver in the league. Having a multitude of good options is an adjustment for a guy who's basically only ever had one good one in DJ Moore.
As a Vikings fan I should say that Addison is literally always open but Darnold gets so locked on JJ that he never throws him the ball. It’s infuriating but Addison deserves to be a true WR2
@ I don’t think it’s necessary that. I just think how bad Aiyuk played this season went somewhat under the radar because all the focus was on the contract. He had the worst performances of his career since his rookie year which I think has to drop him a tier or at least the bottom of his tier
I don’t agree with him but I see his perspective. If you read the tier explanation he said the top tier players have to be dynamic. Since Amon Ra is a slot he’s kinda limited. He literally said he’s the number 1 slot wr
My biggest issues with this list is putting Deebo so high when he has been bad (yards per game) last few years and Aiyuk, who also been ass this year, should not be close to St. Brown (Brown been better than him every year).
quietly saying Khalil shakir has the 2nd most yac yards in the NFL only behind jamar chase who is you know running 60 yard bombs 3 times a game. idk how he does it but hes just a monster he turns into a like 185 lb RB
Genuinely depends on situation and what you need in your offense. Aiyuk is more versatile, but st brown better in the slot. Just because aiyuk had a weird season this year, don’t forget how insane he was last year.
It would be very interesting to see a video like this for coaches/coordinators. If Chicago has taught us anything it's that no matter how good your team is the coaching staff makes or breaks your team. I like that this format shows how they stack up against their peers rather than just seeing a pragmatic value.
I like the new OC for the Bears he was my number one choice for their offensive coordinator position after being let go by the Panthers and he is more of a head coach than Eberflus. Edit: It’s concerning that Eberflus interviewed Thomas Brown for offensive coordinator in January and he hired Shane Waldron instead, Eberflus should be fired for that alone, and the offense was immediately better with Thomas Brown.
I genuinely think BTJ could be a top 5 receiver some day. Dude is near top 10 in yards in a crazy situation and is not getting near as many targets as he should be getting. Already a top 3 deep threat too.
Jordan Addison has been super good this year specially as a separator. It's just that Darnold doesn't look his way. Darnold has consistently missed JA on so many TDs. He should have around 200-300 more yards and 3-4 TDs if Darnold threw it his way
Chris Olave. Elite route runner. Coming into his own as a blocker. Shown more yac this year. Some more contested catch flashes. However the concussions and qb situation has held him back. It's sad.
Darnell Mooney is a true #2 in my opinion. Like you said, he had a QB that couldn’t read the field and would take off after his 1st read. He had bad QB play before and was electric. It’s Money with Two O’s
Aj has been more consistent, and I think he is better but debating this doesn’t rly matter they are both elite HOF potential wideouts who are just insaneb
Suggestion for these tier list videos: it would be cool to include little trending up/down arrows on the player cards to visually show their upward or declining trajectory towards other tiers in the future. I think that would be a cool feature for visual clarity and help “future proof” these lists for future years.
As a ravens fan, words CANNOT describe how awesome it’s been to watch Zay Flowers, like wow, we’ve NEVER had a player like him. Watching his YAC moves, and the big play ability. All with his goofy ass smile on his face, so happy we drafted him.
As a lions fan, I still agree with everything you've said, It is really fun to watch that guy ball out (except when he is on my opponents fantasy team)
i’m glad that despite the mixed comments these videos always seem to receive, it hasn’t turned you away from making these. really enjoy them and i feel like the tier rankings make sense
@@Mega_Rager tyreek has like one 100 yard game this season (game 1). Complete trash without his starten qb. He did nothing to deserve top tier this season.
Jakobi Meyers is super underrated due to Patriots atrocious red zone efficiency during his time. The tape proved him to be like Cooper Kupp and any other top tier slot receiver. Also surprised by Jayden Reed. I would have put him as 1 of 2 this year. He's been impressive.

If you turn on the film on Addison, he's open every damn play. Darnold is slinging it, but he's also forcing it to JJ when he could be hitting Addison.
Jordan Addison is a 1 of 2 definitely, last year proved it despite the issues at quarterback and Justin Jefferson being injured. Sam Darnold has not been looking his way even though he’s ALWAYS open.
Wouldn’t be mad if Olave considered retirement honestly he’s had so many concussions fairly close together. Talent wise can agree he’s fringe top 20, his footwork is A+ class and he’s shown to be dependable as the number one this season

Addison still been a true #2 Darnold is just forcing balls to JJ and throwing picks. And they aren’t throwing the ball as much plus he missed some games to injury. He’s certainly outplayed Keenan Allen and Tank Dell this year.
When you going to admit your mistake on the Braden Fiske evaluation pick??? Not only is he leading all rookies in sacks, and is the clear DT1 out of the 2024 draft, but now he's making a push for rookie of the year. The 2nd rounder the Rams gave up to move up looks like a steal right now, as he's a massive disrupter that the stats don't even show. Come bro, you got this one wrong.
Thank you for showing AJ, Smitty much respect a lot of ppl over look them but I tell ppl all time AJ is the most dominant WR in league pound for pound he has everything in the toolkit. Smitty is just him no other explanation needed.
I believe you may be a little low on Rashee, or maybe a little higher than me on Pittman/Ridley/Sutton/Dhop, but I understand that a big factor for you is the young player's sample size. I know Rashee didn't get a chance to prove that his start of this year would continue, but I was encouraged with what I saw from him in the back half of year 1 and into the playoffs. It feels like at this point in all of their respective careers, Rashee has a higher floor and ceiling than the rest of that tier, and I think with a few more games, he'll quickly show that he belongs in that "1 of 2" category. Great video and breakdown overall.
Seriously Jameson Williams has alpha potential, on top of elite traits like speed ( vertical threat) and playmaking, his route running has been great consistently creating separation even on top DBs and his contested catching has been great, he’s making a lot of tough catches even in high leverage targets. He’s just not in an offense, especially with a QB, that he can excel and produce big numbers with, but he’s doing everything.
Great stuff for football nerds! Thanks a lot! Would it be possible to do these rankings for other positional groups as well? Like right tackles, left tackles, guards...basically all positional groups would really be interesting! Thanks a lot again and regards!

I’m interested to see where you put Pickens. I’d say he belongs in Alpha tier. Is #6 in the League in Recieving Yards even with 4 TDs being called back this year.
