Present day Chiefs fans may or may not fully appreciate how important the impact of Alex Smith was in mentoring Patrick Mahomes in the early days. We fans are all indebted to Alex - class act.
Him and Reid changed the culture of the team also, which allowed Mahomes to come into a team that expected to win 10-13 games a year. Alex definitely didn't inherit that. KC was like the Jets are now. I believe Andy's first draft pick for KC was the first overall pick in the draft.
I will defend Alex Smith to my dying day! Go ahead and complain, the team was obviously in better hands with Damon Huard, Tyler Thigpin, Brady Quinn, Kyle Orton and Matt Cassel. 🤪
KC will win the 3 peat. Never underestimate the play and genius of Mahomes and Andy Reid. The resilience, guts and determination of this team to win is absolutely incredible. GO CHIEFS!!
the chiefs are the first nfl team to reach 5 million followers on tiktok and now the first nfl team to reach 1 million subscribers on youtube channel! this patriots fan respects you!
Watching this gives me goosebumps!! I am 61 , I have been through it as a Chiefs fan!! We waited so long for this!! Just loving it! 3-peat !! Go Chiefs!!!
I'm 70 years old and have been a fan since 1963. I'm from the Kansas City area, now living in CA. Long 50 years. Finally, living in an era where the Chiefs are the best
2015 was when the team was getting there. Been such a fun ride. I waited 38 years for my first Super Bowl. Want the 3-peat so bad. Can still remember some of the radio calls by Holtus in SB54. Let's go Chiefs!!!
Eric Berry & Travis Kelce are the guys who made me a Chiefs fan. The first game I ever watched was when Travis threw his flag at the ref and I was like yeah I like this team
This team has done this the right way over the course of a decade. Solid everywhere. Let them win it and 3 peat and there will be zero doubts about who the best team ever is. GO CHIEFS
What a fantastic ride we've been on with Patrick and so many other great guys. They have given us many wonderful memories. My favorites are the two playoff wins against Buffalo. All I want in 2025 is that 3peat. Hoping our guys make SB history. ❤🎉🏈
My favorite memory of the chiefs is when they scored 28 unanswered points in the second quarter of the divisional round 2020 against the Texans which was a huge comeback man what a moment
Don't leave out Travis Kelce genius knowledge on the football fields. People's are not giving Travis enough credit he help the Chiefs out alot, listen to the Mic up❤❤❤
Was at the London game...if you would of told me that we would go to 4 Superbowls and win 3 in 5 year's i would of told you we can't even win a play off game...CHIEFS KINGDOM
The 3-PEAT is inevitable. Most dont want it to happen because of hate, but you have to respect the moment of them trying to make history, which is to get the first ever 3-PEAT in NFL history.
The same clowns who got Stockholm Syndrome about Patriots and Great Whipe Hope Brady and said "appreciate greatness!!" are awfully quiet these days lmao I love how much people hate this team LFG for that 3
Most people don’t realize how long some of us chiefs fans have waited for a Super Bowl. My whole life ,I’m 49, we never even made it to the Super Bowl. Enter mahomes. Unbelievable
I was 38 when the Chiefs won 54. I remember the overtime loss to the Patriots the year before, I said, what's it going to be like winning a super bowl? And then I said the next season (2019) was going to be the redemption tour and I was right.
37 years old and been a fan since I was a kid. I remember the days of Priest Holmes, Tony G and that HOF offensive line. I remember Dante Hall, the Human Joystick, the X Factor. I remember the days of Jamaal Charles, the 5 TDs against Oakland, the Jamaalocaust. I remember the awful times as well, wandering in the QB wilderness. The Todd Haley years. 2-14 and Jovan Belcher, the darkest day in franchise history. The year when no receivers caught a TD all season. Losing DT. I also remember the playoff heartbreak, year after year. Lin Elliott, No punt game, 38-10, 6 FGs, forward progress and the Mariota tip TD, Dee Ford offsides. Going more than 2 decades without a playoff win and 50 years without a SB appearance. But now we're in the glory years. This run feels like such a euphoric and satisfying payoff for all those years of heartbreak and dysfunction, of tragedy and ineptitude. Soak it in Chiefs Kingdom.
Tbh, I’ve been watching y’all’s every day, and yesterday when you had 999k subscribers, I was about to lose it. Seeing you guys reach this is amazing, keep on being the greatest in the league! 🏈
What a ride it’s been so far… I remember how awful i felt for Kareem when he fumbled in the 2017 Pats game and the announcers said he had never fumbled in college, then proceeds to be unstoppable for the rest of that game. And now he’s back after making some mistakes and he’s balling. We gotta get him some jewelry.
Thank you so much! I endured all the missed field goals and tumultuous playoff losses. Reaching this point is one of the greatest feelings of my life. Congratulations on reaching 1 million subscribers, and Merry Christmas to the Chiefs Organization and all the fans who cherish it!
1,000,000 subs awesome i would like to personally thank all the trolls who subbed to the Chiefs channel just to come and troll all the live streams without you this wouldn’t have been possible so thank you all
Man.... Watching Travis Kelce highlights from 5-6-7-8 years ago, its clear hes lost a step or two 😥 but holy cow! His peak was unlike anybody else's. When he still had all his athleticism, he was literally unguardable. I sure miss those days
In 2016 I went out to my local convince store in Los Angeles and instead needed up driving out to the state of Kansas to visit NFL Hall of Famer John Riggins home town, where they gave me a tour of his high school. Thats when I became a "bandwagon" Chiefs fan.
The moment that changed KC forever and one moment that I’m so thankful I was 100% I was wrong lol bc I do follow college at all but I like every other goofball didn’t understand the pick 6:26
Andy Reid really changed everything when he came down here from Philly. Of course roster building from Brett Veach and drafting the GOAT QB also doesn't hurt haha! But how can you not include Mahomes insane TD run in the AFC Championship against the Titans?? That entire playoff run from the 2019 season was just crazy, such amazing memories
I've been a Chiefs fan for 30+ years. My dad has been a long time Chiefs since Marcus Allen and Joe Montana time. Multiple Superbowls and making history. I'm so proud to be a Chiefs fan. God bless the Chiefs and no one else. How about them Chiefs.
I grew up loving the steelers in the 70s - 1987 because the chiefs were horrible as a teen. Then Marty and Carl Peterson came, and the rebirth of Chiefs kingdom emerged, and now you can bury me in a chiefs casket. Let's Get That 3peat!!!
I don’t think people understand how important Alex was on rebuilding the Chiefs. I know it’s really about Veech and Andy, but Alex set the momentum and was the perfect mentor for Mahomes.
The Chiefs are getting their injured players back and are getting better and better at 15-1, that's super scary. Now they get home field advantage and an extra week's rest.
What is your favorite memory?! ❤
Sitting with my dad at a Chiefs game.
Seeing my first chiefs with my family and I met Pacheco and Reid
When the Chiefs were down 24-3 versus the chargers in 2016 and Alex Smith led a comeback
@@ACU_misfitThat’s a good memory, man🙂
..well lately my favorite memory gets updated just about every week !
Go Chiefs 👉🏈👈
I teared up seeing Andy Reid hugging Kareem Hunt after a game. He’s back now, and what a difference he has made for us!
Let's get a Ring for Kareem and DHop!!!
Present day Chiefs fans may or may not fully appreciate how important the impact of Alex Smith was in mentoring Patrick Mahomes in the early days. We fans are all indebted to Alex - class act.

Seeing Travis before any other modern day player feels like an origin story

Love seeing the old highlights of Alex smith and Travis back in his prime lol I'm glad all the playoff heartbreak led to everything we see now
2015 was when the team was getting there. Been such a fun ride. I waited 38 years for my first Super Bowl. Want the 3-peat so bad. Can still remember some of the radio calls by Holtus in SB54. Let's go Chiefs!!!

@@ricardobjj24 that game was in my birthday and I was at it.😂
Bengals game right?
Alex Smith is so incredibly underrated I don't care what anyone says, one of my favs!
Mahomes will always be the GREATEST Chief but I still love Alex Smith just as much as I love Mahomes lol
This team has done this the right way over the course of a decade. Solid everywhere. Let them win it and 3 peat and there will be zero doubts about who the best team ever is. GO CHIEFS
From Steve DeBerg to Patty Mahomes and what a freaking ride it has been. I cried when we beat SF, like a baby. Thank God for Andy and Pat
Steve DeBerg was the first Chiefs player/celeb I met. Heck of a nice guy.
as a 52yr old lifelong Chiefs fan, being able to witness all of the history these moments represent has been PRICELESS!
Happy Holidays
✌️🐝➕
Man, when Hill took that punt return to the house, he looked like he was gliding. Effortless speed. Really special player.
This team will always be in my heart❤ Thanks for all And i can’t believe it’s been 8 years since we drafted mahomes 😢🎉🎉

I am so glad to be a lifelong Chiefs fan (since they drafted Mahomes). Texas Tech nation loves KC!

Nice to see respect for Alex Smith. Without him, I truly believe we aren't where we are now.

The Alex Smith Love is great, I like how they didn't write it off like the NFL does the run the Rams had in STL
How About Those Chiefs!!!❤💛
Only thing missed was the 2022 redemption AFC championship game. That was a pinnacle one
The Chiefs are a full football movie for every season!
