- Update 1.49 has just dropped on GT7, the biggest update since Spec II back in November. It includes:
Eiger Nordwand circuit (returns from GT5 and GT6)
New physics model (updated tyre wear and suspension model)
6 new cars (BMW M3, Ferrari 430, Lamborghini LP 560-4, Genesis X VGT, RUF RGT 4.2, Subaru Impreza Rally Car)
Sophy AI now available on Nürburgring 24hr circuit and Autodromo Maggiore Full
One new cafe menu

Something I noticed right away on night racing was that you’re no longer blinded when you’re being tailed by a car. Like you can actually see the road as if your own view is being prioritized over the headlights of the car behind you which I think is a significant improvement ❤

I love the new bunny hop physics,very realistic..if you're in a golf gti mk1 and you hold accelerator and brake together with traction off it literally bounces all over,gets good height too

Me and my dad spent countless hours playing GT3. We chose a different track every day and would each get 3 laps to see who could get a faster lap
Playing GT7 is super nostalgic even though the online is infuriating. It still brings me a great sense of joy

The jump is much milder than earlier gts, the way the car yeeeted in gt5 gt6 is so unrealistic, this is much more appropiate and realistic
Great to see this track back! This track was amazing for drifting. Learnt car handling skills on this track. Try linking all hairpins together whilst drifting using the handbrake...
good, i like the changes, terrible drivers will be worse and struggle more, good will get used to it

no one talking about the netcode not sure if its the latest upadate thats made it way better! as I haven't played GT7 in a while becuase of teleporting cars and janky netcode !!

The race at 3h25, with the Dodge that doesnt want to turn... it may be your fanatec. It does it for me sometimes. A quick "option button" and back fixes it usually.

Yesterday I saw several pros saying that the cars are faster with the new physics and that the tires wear more. I don't know if PD changed anything based on their feedback. Need to see what they will say now that the patch is out.
Maybe everyone is slower because they are more cautious, but over time they will get used to or learn new things. Carrazza said on stream yesterday (before the update) that in the new physics his car would be very unstable with BB all the way to the back. So does this mean we shouldn't do it anymore? I won't be able to play until 12 hours from now

Really a missed opportunity for them to add circuit Gilles Villeneuve… even more of a bummer that they only have one variation of Eiger… a one minute lap time track gets old kinda quick

I’m in America and for me to get gold was “1:04.824”.
But on your screen it says “1:05.583”. Why is that???
The time changes as it's based on a percentage of the top time. You must have checked it after the top time was improved.

I wonder how they decide what to implement into the game. GT4 had so many amazing tracks and yet they take this Eiger Nordwand from GT5/6? Yes it can be fun and all but maaaaaaaan cmoooon
3:42:42 The wheel probably feels so strange bcause this Nissan LM car is a FF car...... yes.... a LeMans race car with front engine AND front wheel drive..... drove it once, will never drive it ever again.
I dont think they upgraded sophy a.i, it doesnt say it in the patch notes either.
The AI is still the same 2.0. They just added new tracks and cars supported.

@samuelgeaney7556 I haven't tried it yet myself. So I'm not judging yet but I also don't really race in gt7 I drift as I'm the leader of falken I just hope the Drifting feeling ok and I don't have to retune
They seem to miss during QA test maybe. It's now in the known issues.

They should focus on updates with new real tracks not fake ones . Like how about Sydney Motorsport park. Or a real track from Canada . Just saying people would prefer a real track over a made up one
Not so sure about that gt fictional circuit is good, and if they bring back somethimg like midfield it would create as much hype as any real world track easily.

Cars Sound so bad in this game. Put this much effort into this game but can’t make real car sounds?

I disagree the sounds is not bad at all, its quite good actully, just likt any game it depends on the cars, no racing game has perfect sounds for every car.
Gt7 sounds could still improve in some ways, but to call them bad is plain wrong, this is not gt6 era anymore they have step up big time since then.
