Wow, y'all are about as hot as we are down here in Texas. I don't get to go out in Nature as much as I'd like to, so I really enjoyed your outing, maybe even more than you , sitting here under my air conditioner😅 Now back home for some rest and recuperation.
@TerressaZook OMG that heat dome covered almost the ENTIRE continent! It was brutal! We do get that hot here in summer, but not typically so early in June. Even all the bugs were out a couple of weeks early. Blah 🥵 Stay cool, friend. It's dangerous out there!
@TerressaZook absolutely! When I lived in NC for a few years, nobody there would believe that we have hot humid summers like this here "up north" 🙄 but the humidity is worse here sometimes because all the water in the air from the Great Lakes. I intensely dislike humidity 😝
Despite the heat, it was a fun backpacking trip with you and Lisa! Looks like you and Cindy Lou had a very beautiful/peaceful early morning on day two checking out the other sites while we were still in the tent. Plus great Ptovoking # 11 tour to show how difficult that site is. We lucked out getting Provoking #6 for 2 nights as it is a nice site with good water access and swimming....only needs the posh firepit benches from #10 and than it would be perfect! 🤣

@@musingwithreba9667 And that high humidity is what makes it so unbearable 🥵

@@katanaguttman4063 Yes! All the sites need better friends to make nice posh benches 🤣
@@musingwithreba9667 absolutely, that and food storage lockers due to the difficulty in finding good trees around many sites for food hangs. 😉🤣
@@katanaguttman4063 let's make a wish list and send it to them 🤣
