Tris was not the original drummer of Chicago, as good as he is. Danny Seraphine, the original drummer has also sat in with them if you look around on here. Not knocking you or Tris by pointing this out. Just pointing it out, lol!
Anybody lucky enough to call Tris a friend knows that this is one solid, genuine, great guy, with an unbelievable attitude and a boatload of talent. Here's to your health, old friend! God bless.
It's hard to say who was having more fun, the band or Tris. This was fun to watch, and it's great to see former Chicago members embrace this group - they deserve it!
That Tris was willing to sit in with Leonid and Friends show mutual respect. Tris respects them for being faithful to Chicago's music and they return the respect by giving him the solo. Had to be a thrill for those guys to have a legit member of Chicago jamming with them.
SO AMAZING!!! удивительно!!!...as a retired professional drummer and lover of Chicago...Tris is amazing...but Igor is the man in my book. Игорь самый лучший!!....and YET the coolest thing in this entire video is Leonid's bell bottoms!!!He is ROCKIN them!!!
Very difficult to sit down on on another drummer's kit and play well. Drums and cymbals are generally not where you want them. Tris makes it look easy.
Tris is a great drummer and by all accounts a super nice guy but......no, it really isn't that difficult at all; especially at his level and playing tunes he has been doing for 20+ years!
Ivan is better than Tris...truth...Wouldn't it be great if Robert Lamm, Jimmy or Lou showed up? Not likely Walter would ever be there.he's tending to health issues.
Mike ackerman, I'm not sure if you're agreeing with me or not but either way please re-read what I wrote. They are falling all over him and I think he's NOT that swell.
@@62bobbay I'm not sure if you're aware or not, but any time you swap out a member of a band that's been together for a while, it changes the chemistry. Tris is an amazing drummer, and if he'd been playing with the band as long as Igor has, they'd be just as tight. Just remember though... without people like Tris, Terry, Robert, Peter, etc... there IS no Leonid and Friends!! At least not like we know them today!
No one cares what you think. But since you are in a thinking mood, think of a hit song, there is a great chance Tris was the drummer on it. Period. End of story. Back to your chores.
All I can say is, it is fantastic that these real Chicago band members sit in with this incredible cover band. That says, "respect."
I'ts wonderful😁👏👏👏👏

Tris has something else in common with this group... he ALWAYS smiles... love it!!!

Tris imboden drumming is awesome and God bless him in the future and his health
These guys worked very hard to get this success and this is a great moment to be able to see.
I grew up listening to Chicago ans was inspired by Danny's drumming.
I love Danny's drum patterns and ideas!!!
Awesome to see and hear Tris! What an awesome experience for Leonid & Friends!
A Legend Will Always be a LEGEND.. Watching From The Philippines 🇵🇭 Avid Fan of Chicago and TRISH IMBODEN
This is the coolest thing I've seen in a while...beautiful mutual respect....thank God for music...
Was an incredible concert - I was there right in front of stage - Excellent addition, thank you Tris!!
Thank you for posting Randall!! Love this perspective & being able to clearly see the drum kit. What a crazy honor to ha e Tris there!!
Pretty decent for sitting in...I just love this band...so talented. Something mesmerizing about them...can watch over & over again...

Thank you for the video! My favorite band right now.
AWESOME!!! Thank You, TRIS..

This is his 1970 Terry Kath look! All he needs is Terry's boots
And Igor is the guy I would want backing me up in a bar brawl.
@@alswearingen323 Boy, ain't that the truth! That guy is built like a T-80 tank!
Seems like everyone wants to sit in with these great singers musicians and great songs to play!
Dude’s got some serious chops.
Nice recovery Tris!👍
This is so cool! One of these days: Peter, Bill, Jason and Danny have to sit in!!
Danny has more than once. I think Jason has, too. He's met them for sure. Coffey sang with them in Clearwater Florida.
Oh I love this Tris you’re the best!!
It was an inspiring high energy night at the Belly Up and both drummers were great!
wow this was awesome!
Those guys (Leonid & friends) are amazing, ... And accompanied by Tris imboden on the drums it has been a great experiment to enjoy it !!!
Tris is straight up, one of the good guys!
Awesome!!!!!!!!
WOW!!! Awesome!!
I like Tris, but actually prefer Igor’s drumming.
I agree. But no one can compare to Danny Seraphine.
....Igor is amazing....I'd agree with you
Yes me 2
I never saw Chicago live during Tris's years, but seeing this makes me appreciate Mr. Javad-Zade even more. Way more.
@@drew-shourd Igor really is amazing!!
Trish Bodem In The Hse.. 😊😃👊🤘 .. Watching From The Philippines 2022 July..
First it was Danny, now its Tris. Who'll be next ... Peter Cetera, Walt Parazaider, Donnie Dacus, Chris Pinnick, Bill Champlin etc. Take your pick.
He’s lucky he dropped his RIGHT stick AT HIS RIGHT foot ha ha ha
And retrieved it in time for the fill.
Sonoma County Fair Saturday night August 10th!!!

Like driving the car after my wife has. Seat and mirrors are out of adjustment.

Yes I have heard that! And a cancer survivor too!
Audition? Nice to see an ex-bus 2 member.
Leonid fantastic
this guy dropped the stick!
did anyone notice he stuffed up the beginning fill!!!!
More of an example of what should be, not what could have been.
Danny was the best
Ivan is better than Tris...truth...Wouldn't it be great if Robert Lamm, Jimmy or Lou showed up? Not likely Walter would ever be there.he's tending to health issues.
Tris was just coming off shoulder surgery. Maybe give him a break. Tris is a tremendous drummer.
1:49 get another one!
Sounds way better than the current version of Chicago. Nothing against Wally Reyes who took Tris' place though
Tris is one hell of a drummer, but Wally is at another level. Check out his Drum Cam videos and you will likely agree.
🤩😷🤩
I just don't think he's that wonderful.

@@steve9199 Tris was just months removed from major shoulder rotator cuff surgery. It was a gift for him to sit in while still recovering.
