Love it, love it, love it. At 71 years old, I may be your oldest follower, and you inspire me to get back on the trail. That one looks like it would have been tough in my 20's, but still... Anyway, your video production, as always was awesome. Your interaction with Mollie is sweet & fun. Can't wait for our next trip!
I never went on a hike but your videos really make me want to get out there and explore some nature i discovered your chanel from the island bike tour your vids are great 💚
i never did that hike, but had some friends that did it. maybe someday. right now i am back in Europe but still have home on Vancouver island. maybe next summer i will be back to try it out. what an awesome video Jenna. I also like the mountains, used to live in Kimberley. love you channel / videos. keep up the good work.
As a hitchhiking backpacking bikepacking knothead I certainly have had those tough days rewarded with great days! Great video, and thanks for sharing your Dash!!! - Davey.
Vancouver Island is so wet, wild, mystical, raw, and beautiful. The rough trail makes the hike pretty tough. Carrying a 40 pound bag on rough trail is challenging mentally and physically. Thanks for sharing an awesome, arduous hike on beautiful Vancouver Island.

I discovered your channel when I was looking for WCT videos. I watched yours and immediately subscribed. I did the WCT this summer and it was so nice to see what you showed in your video in real life! I guess I have to do the Juan De Fuca trail now too. Love your channel, from a fellow Calgarian 😊
Omg hey fellow Calgarian 😌 I hope the WCT treated you well, I’ve been wanting to go back ever since! And best of luck if you decide to do the jdf it was definitely more of a struggle 😭😂
@@AaronYVR oof that’s rough 😭 this was back in July and we thankfully didn’t get torrential downpour but it was still soooo difficult. props to you guys for making it through the storms!
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think strava counts your steps/movements and gps location as well for your distance covered, and because the paths/trails are zig zags, the display will almost double. As opposed to the map distance label which only measures the distance between point A and point B in a straight line.
I think you’re probably right! My confusion was more so that most trails I’ve hiked are marked/noted as more true-to-walking-distance rather than a straight point to point distance if that makes sense?! Haha
"Negative oral points" BwahahahaHAHAHAhahaha!!! I know exactly what you mean. I'm very vocal in my angry moments when I realize I did or went somewhere wrong. Luckily you found your way back in the right trail.
I think it was around 15-20 degrees (Celsius) on most days! This was back in mid July though! And yes definitely 😂 I brought my stiff/waterproof backpacking boots cuz I was banking on there being tons of mud lol

Anyone who has done the trail knows how rough Chin to Bear is. Salute to tackling that with a 45 pound backpack. That's something.

Just did the trail in August (during the thunderstorms) and same thing, that bear to chin leg was an absolute nightmare. Hope you had fewer mudslides!

Of course! In this video I had 2 cameras with me- I was using the osmo action 3 and the osmo pocket 3 (both by DJI)!
what equipment do you film with? :)
Wow you saw whales!😍 are there otters on that coast aswell?
