Thanks for the video! I've had some health issues this year (long covid) which means i've been stuck in bed. It's so nice to at least *see* the outdoors until i can get back out there again. I'm living vicariously through all your camping!

Bring some bright colored ribbon or construction tape with you. As you hike tie up some of that ribbon\tape every 50 yards or so. Lane markers for direction if you get lost.
Next year to Vancouver, Vancouver Island is also on the list. But as Dutch I have only 3-4 weeks holiday per year and Canada is so huge I must make decissions. Your videos with buddy Kiro are not only fun to watch but a travel guide as well. I bet even a Canadian will not see even 10% of its own country in a lifetime :)

I did my first hike on Vancouver Island in May and absolutely loved it. Now that you mention it, it did rain a whole lot! It's interesting to know it's classified as a rain forest. I'm so glad you chose to explore here! Do you plan to go back? Strathcona is really awesome.
I was out on the same weekend and we had plenty of rain and _wind_ here in the PNW. It was exciting with trees falling around me. Also, your Starlink was probably not working because it will only work within the region it is assigned to and the regions are small so it's not hard to get out of bounds. Mine had that problem. Great vid!
My plan covers all of North America but apparently it’s a common problem of the cord wiring breaking. Even though it was the first time using it :(. Going through their warranty to get a new one.
