Wow, an essentially orchestral setting arranged for the organ by the quintessential Diane Bish. Any day she's a delight to see performing on the organ.
I love the part at 4:17 - It reminds me of the song that plays when the graduates come to the stage to get their diplomas (it might not be the same song, but it has the same feel to it) and I LOVE it! the music she plays on the Organ is so relaxing and uplifting.
You remind me of, and you have some conexion i think... Rosalyn Tureck. Great Rosalyn, and great Mrs. Bish, bravo! PD: a bit too fast all of them though, to my taste
Is Dianne Bish still alive? (I used to watch this show all the time back in 80's and early 90's; she actually inspired me to learn to play Bach... I figured, if she could do it on gigantic organs in high heels and way too much jewelry, I could certainly do it at home, on a piano, (I know, yuck!) dressed normally with no digital encumberances.
Miss Diane Bish caresses each note with the love and dedication of a true artist. 💖💖💖💖💖

No sheet music, eyes closed, pure joy of playing the King of Instruments. Is it possible this was 30 years ago? Wow!!
Diane is the grand lady of the organ and has a deep connection for Bach!
Composers or music-arrangers can do things I never could. They hear everything !
Diane, your organ sounds like a true orchestra! And you are Bravissima!
4:17 GIVES ME GOOSEBUMPS EVERY TIME. LOVE THE BASS
