My children really like homemade baking and I try to keep them happy with fresh baked goods every day. You can always find fresh recipes on my channel. Today I made milk bread. Milk Bread Recipe:
300 ml warm milk.
3 tablespoons sugar.
8 grams of dry yeast.
600 grams of wheat flour.
1 teaspoon salt.
2 eggs.
60 g butter at room temperature.
sunflower oil.
Olive oil.
Butter.
1 egg yolk.
2 teaspoons milk.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes.

The wheat flour used is not whole wheat. In my outdoor oven, I have been making up to 16 loaves at times, but usually 8 to 10. My recipe is 66% whole wheat and 33% white flour. Takes me 5 hours, start to finish, rain, snow or shine, Summer and Winter. Been doing this over 30 years and still at it at age 93. I've also made pizza, buns, baked beans in that wood burning oven.
80 years old and never made bread. The kids played hockey with my biscuits. But you have inspired me to try. Ian flooded our home here in Florida. Been camping for a year now, but soon as we get an oven (surrounded by a house) my husband is going to have to eat a loaf a day 😂Nancy
