It’s fighting game notation which probably should’ve been explained at the beginning of these videos with like a quick reference picture to pause on. 1, 2, 3, and 4 are universal instead of the different controller buttons.

8:54 I do not recommend doing RD into u+2 for wall combo unless you're absolutely sure the u+2 will kill them. You can see after the u+2 King is at -13 so, not only the opponent can get up faster than King, they can actually get guaranteed wakeup sweep on him. Would be a very embarrassing way to lose a match. Obviously you can still use d+2+3 or CD+1+2 or ground throws in place of u+2 so I would advise that.
I would suggest going down the counter hit and reactive read road with King for a little bit. That's where i find the absolute peak of fun when I'm playing King. B1, ffn1+2, ffn2, d1+3 or d2+4 (insane recov. Near impossible for them to punish on reactive whiff) Df21, db4, ss2, nj4, delay nj3>gs are the better tools to use for it
Must add that iSW and aerial GS do not have the same oki. iSW nets you more + frames and as such allows better followups, especially against specific situations and characters!
Very cool guide. I've watched it before and didn't understand much but now that I have experience and have arrived to a lot of the same techniques on my own and have a feel for mechanics now, I really understand everything that you are discussing here. Perhaps a longer, multi part and way dumbed down video could be made for beginners such as myself a month ago.
i dont really get it how to do most of the hardmove but atleast now i know my next target. thanks man. and btw, it is loud and clear. i really like how you make the guide
Cool video man. Something you should be aware of is you can SSL or backdash Kings delayed 2 from d/f+1,2, good players should know this so you should use this sparingly.
Great guide, thanks! Been meaning to learn king for a bit and you helped out a lot It would be useful to have your inputs on the screen though to help us understand exactly what to do when!
Hi, amazing videos dude, i am trying to learn Nina and watched almost every Nina video on your channel, i am a beginner so i didnt understand much of that but i liked it, can you make a small video on SS cancel annoying strings with inputs?? Ik you made a video on SS cancel and you taught which moves you can do after that, but i would like to learn a type of combo which i can use and remember as a beginner, can you teach me 2-3 combos like ss1,3 ss2,3,2,1 ss3,4,3 ss4,4 etc(these are random commands), just like hwo flamingo you can mix with mid, high and lows Thank you Ps i dont want to cheese i just want to learn it for a backup
As a pro wrestling SUPER FAN I have to admit that I'm blown away by the work put into KING by the designers/developers. I play KING since TEKKEN 1 :D and "I WAS ALWAYS THERE" where the new stuff was implemented, title by title. Can't wait for TEKKEN 8
1 = Quadrata 2 = Triangulus 3 = Transire 4 = Circulus. It's the eldest, easiest and most common way for people teaching tekken inputs so that's how we learn

I thought this was as dumbed down as I could go. When Tekken 8 comes out, I'll try to simplify King a bit further
My King in Tekken 7 is pretty good so far i reached to the Brawler level and my Armor King reached the Marauder level
Nice! I'm currently working on King-Speed Guide 2. Hopefully with that video you can climb some ranks!
I want to say that hop knee, and elbows there are 3 people that can parry them. Jin, geese, and leroy smith
Raven can too

FF N+2? Be careful with it since some characters can launch it
@@ThoughtsOfHimself Didn't know that, thanks!
Hello, do you have a video which covers King's 1+4 (Moonsault Body Press)? The move looks really cool, but I can't find an application for it

Anyone know how to do Kings special sidestep? Only him and Marduk Can do it. It almost looks like he does a crouching sidestep

For DDT, do F+3, then hit 2, hold it down and then hit 1. You have to do all three inputs quickly though AND get the right timing
