Hi do you have to buy credits or does it come with it? I need to reset inspection due on audi a1
I did exactly what you did on my 2010 Audi Q5. It said it was successful but when I turned the car off that "service due" reminder showed up on the cars screen. I powered the car back up and there it was again. I never started the car just powered it up. Everything looked very impressive but unless I did something wrong this OBDeleven did not do the job.
Did you have to use the PRO part of the App to do it? I'm just planning to buy the starter basic tool for this reason mainly.
I use the icarsoft cr max and it works perfectly ( Audi Q2 year 2022)
Does this work on 2020 and beyond? I saw a post on the OBDeleven forums about it NOT working due to some "tamper prevention" type of software in the 2020 and beyond years. Sure enough...just tried following this video on my 2020 RS3 and it "failed" when I used the Inspection Reset Application (At least it didn't charge me 10 credits)
Now what I don't understand is I can do it manually so what's the point using my OBD11 to reset it Am I wrong... I got to pay credit so I can reset it. You can reset your inspection notification manually though.

So they are compatible with pretty much all Audi’s and VWs

This no longer works. It used to, I used it all the time. But the developers have somehow broken it with updates on their side - you don't even need to update your app. It will still rob you of your 10 credits of course, but will not clear the Service Reminder anymore. And yes, I have the pro version. like I say, I used to do it all the time. Google it if you don't believe me, people everywhere have the same results with this function. Apparently you can do it with long encoding instead of using the workshop app (the easy way), but I have not done so yet. Really disappointed with their business decisions, and lack of testing they're doing. Seems they are focused on the BMW market instead of keeping what they had going with VW/Audi. Too bad, will probably throw mine away. I already have a "basic" ODBII scanner. There are now better (aka WOKING) options out there for less money.
