- How to reset "Service due!" maintenance reminder in Audi A6 C7 using a diagnostic tool. There are two reminders: oil change and service inspection. Only oil reminder can be reset via Audi MMI screen. #Service inspection #reset requires diagnostic tool. In this video I'm using OBDeleven but you can use VCDS or any other scan tool that lets you change adaptation values in VAG vehicles.
🛠 Procedure for #AudiA6C7
Connect with module 17 - Instrument Cluster,
Go to Adaptation,
Select channel "FIX: Time since last time-dependent inspection",
enter new value (0 days, if it the inspection was just performed),
save new value,
Select channel "FIX: Distance covered since last mileage-dependent inspection",
enter new value (0 kilometers, if it the inspection was just performed),
save new value,
cycle the ignition.
ℹ️ Sometimes you need to set both values to 0 to clear the "Service due" message on the instrument cluster. Once it's cleared, you can readjust the values to proper ones.
🚗 The same procedure should work with other VAG cars (Audi, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen) produced at the same period of time.

last time i reset my values i did something wrong and now the reminder is not showing up when ignition is on, even though i have 1200km left until oil change, any ideas? also in OBD 11 the reminder adaptation value is 2

You can get PRO (which will give you access to coding and adaptations) or get basic version and use one-click-apps to do it which you will need to pay for with credits.

The message still on 😢 why doesn't it disappear
I resented with obd11 , before it said service due in 12 days, now it says 365 days but i it have the message on the dashboard thats says " Sevice due"

As far as I know, yes. You can reset the oil reminder from the MMI screen, but the inspection reminder needs to be reset with diagnostic tool.

What is the difference between oil change and inspection due? Should both be set at the same interval?
Oil service (oil+filter) and maintenance service (brakes, suspension… checks) can be scheduled at different mileages.
