I own a blue and teal Antarctic and I really want a matching Pacific
I personally believe that Glidr should have provided PB washers. I put some in myself, and it really improves the sound quality and also has a smoother swing. I was surprised to find that when I took it apart, there was already ware on the DLC. I hadn't even flipped it all that much.

Agreed with your assessment pretty much completely - I warned you it was SUPER grippy 😛 (I too think it is the grippiest balisong I've ever tried - completely the opposite of previous Glidr balis). In fact, I think it may be just a little TOO grippy, and that causes some drag, which MAY be what was causing you to feel some fatigue from it. 🤷♀

i got this in purple rain, yes very expensive for $300 AUD but so worth it since i cant get anything better where i live unless you can tell me otherwise
Hey, I’m from Aus too. I was wondering what you think about it if you’ve used it yet, because I’m considering buying one but I’m worried about the grip as I see people complaining about it and people saying it’s amazing and also that it’s nearly $300 so I don’t want to regret buying it. All I have is a cheap nautilus clone I got from eBay and am looking to buy a pacific, Thanks in advance.
I've got a fire and ice pacific. It's definitely top much grip and abrasive.

I tried to clean my Artic V2 and 1 pivot screw goes in but pushes out the screw on the other side. 1 washer like 3x bigger than the other on Indy why. I put everything back exactly how it came out. And tried using 2 T10 bits on each side to stop it from moving when I screw it in

there should be lighter weights for the handles, it comes with 2 sets one light one heavy.
but it might have the same issue as the FLS liminal where even the lightest weight was a little too much for my preference.
all in all i want a glidr Pacific in the blue moon color, it looks awesome.

Amazing tolerances. Also, glidr Co and NRB made the Konig weight system in collaboration. NRB himself says that they have every right to use it

hey, I'm back, what'd I miss?(I'm half joking, I've been semi keeping up w/ balis while I was gone just haven't communicated much) so this sounds like my wheel house since I'm usually the complainer when it comes to pricing. I don't think 6061 can go above 200 and I don't think 7075 can go above 300(much). 170 even for 6061 which is still a great metal is still a pretty good price. yes I wish it was cheaper but at least it wasn't fry knife 2.0 which I still argue was a way worse situation considering what flyti did during it and honestly I consider not only glidr's finishes one of the best in the biz but their tolerances as well. my arctic beta that still runs on washers still has no tap, and no(?) play if I recall. even doing a handle swap on the Antarctic had really good tolerances.
honestly, i get the ire from the community. its not like glidr sells the most amazing flipping experiences on the planet large majority of the time and ill introduce this point to the discussion: they kind of have the aussie market in a stranglehold which doesn't give them much incentive to improve so the fact they are even trying at all is pretty surprising(i say that mostly because of aussies strong anti balisong laws and crackdown on those, the fact that squid pulled out from shipping to there a few years back and the fact that other then glidr there haven't been other aussie competitors to compete for the crown there unless I missed any recent huge announcements during my absence)

@@BladeBias oo nice! have you used any nice headphones before? iems have always been interesting to me but i've had a hard time wearing my moondrops chus for longer sessions at my pc for gaming n such,,
I've used some of the sennheiser lineup, I think the 6xxs? But it's been a while and I don't remember exactly how they sounded and a similar story for a couple other nicer headphones I tried while I was in Atlanta for blade show.
My daily driver headphones are the Meze 99 Noirs though

Depends on a lot of factors, especially how much power your headphones draw but I have never sat down and used a nice Amp of any sort
