I have a FR24 receiver from has 4 years, but as far as I can see it, this model has a display on the front. Is that so or am I wrong?

Could you give me so guidance about how to actually physically install the receiver? Like are there loose cables everywhere leading to the antenna or have you drilled holes in your walls to make it neater? Is it something you can do yourself or does it require more specialist help?
Personally I'd place the box near a window, then trail the cable out of a small hole in the frame up to the roof, keeping the cable tight, but not really hidden or anything- then once on the roof it doesn't matter- just snake it along (mabye tucked under a roof tile here and there)

Hi,I’d like to apply for the receiver but what if it loose internet connection for few minutes?
they will send you an email notifying that your feed is offline and will ask you of what is the problem usually minimum of 1 hour to 48 max depending on what time you set, a few minutes of downtime would not be a problem so don't worry too much. If you didn't feed for 48 hours, they will downgrade your subscription or ask to return the device unless you state your valid reason
How long did it take for them to complete the application and get it to you?

Outside or at the very least somewhere without many obstructions, a window is a obstruction as it blocks the 978/1090 MHz by around 10-30dBm.
Good job my friend! I think you should put higher the antenna because you have a big obstacle there, the roof! From the camera focus i can see that! 👍🏼

I placed it outside the window frame aligned below the antenna, it's good enough to pick up gps coverage. Don't worry about rain, it's weatherproof

They'll typically charge you for it. It's company property, and not sending it back would be considered stealing. Although I doubt it'd become a legal issue, I wouldn't me surprised if they begin to send you multiple invoices.

how many internet bandwidth they required and how is the usages for a month
as your experience how much is the operation costs per month
The factors would be the antenna range and flight traffic in which mine goes about 260 Nm max, 400 flights/day, 150,000 positions. My receiver is consuming 2 GB/month upload base on my data usage and 15kwh/month or $2/month. I don't feel the burden of monthly cost, if you are planning to become a feeder you have to prepare for the installation labor and cost
and oh 1 mbps of upload speed is enough to feed data but you have to watch the ping, anything below 20 ms is great, this is to minimize the transfer delay between the adsb receiver and main server
Here in India we have very cheap Internet, for 400rs we get 1.5 gb per day + unlimited calling+ 100 messeges per day.
@@BestYakisova I applied for the receiver but didn't know that it uses so much power. Electricity were I live is absurdly expensive, it would cost me $15 a month to keep it running 24/7. Well, unfortunately I'll have to decline the equipment if they choose me :(
@@_adi_5 That sounds a bit expensive. Here in Brazil I have 90mpbs/45mpbs (down/up) with unlimited data for $17 a month (fiber connection). But on the other hand electricity is absurdly expensive, to the point that I couldn't keep their device running 24/7 (it would cost me $15 a month) ... the "joys" of a third world country :(
