Love this song but they have so many great songs that you need to check out... Mama Kin,Toys In The Attic, Back In The Saddle, Kings and Queens, Nobody's Fault, Last Child, Train Kept A Rollin these are a must if you want to know more Aerosmith. Dream On was written by Steven Tyler when he was 17. The band is still together after 50 years and going on tour later this year.
This is the 70’s still. Aerosmith has been through it all. You started with the first hit of the first album. Well done👍🏼. Same old song and dance, walk this way, rats in the cellar, you see me crying. Early Aerosmith in my opinion is the best but kudos for still being in the game!
Couple things…this is from the 70s, not 80s, also this is the radio version, which is shorter, and lastly this is the studio recording played over a live performance from a tv show, Midnight Special (I believe). Two later performances with a much better scream at the end and live performances are the MTV 10th anniversary show with an orchestra and the band or the Howard stern birthday performance. Either will do but I prefer the one with the orchestra.
This was the recorded version played over a live performance for the video. This is also a single edit version of the song, the album version is much better ✌️
The 80s were the best! Lol, this was one of my favorite albums, the lead singer Steven Tyler is still singing to this day at age 76 and still sounds as goos as ever, he is amazing!!!! Loved your reaction!!!
He wrote this as a young man. As good as a singer as he is, in an interview, he considered himself primarily a songwriter and composer. (Don’t worry about what decade it was. It’s similar to not realizing Benny Goodman was from the 1930s instead of the 1940s- when he became even more popular.) Time is relative young man, take it from an old lady! 😹 Thank you for your reactions, I truly enjoy your thoughts! 😽🎶💕
Fabulous Reaction! I'll leave you with some very "Good" paths to go down yes. After "GNR" broke up "Slash" was in 2 other more underground popular bands. "Velvet Revolver" with former singer from "Stone Temple Pilots" who passed away on tour and, this one is Fabulous "Alter Bridge" with "Myles Kennedy" as the singer. Myles Kennedy stands out because, I saw his big break in the Movie - "Rock Star" which is super accurate about the 80's "Rock Scene" Maybe look in on the movie and, check out "Alter Bridge" after. That movie also has a number of real "Rock Stars" in it. ✌😁
You should checkout Twisted Sister if you want to see big hair. You should watch I wanna Rock and Be Chrool to Your Scuel. You should also watch How Twisted Sister out classed Congress.
Looks like a studio recording put over a live version from the TV show, The Midnight Special.
They were babies in this one!!! His voice got way better with age!!! His signature scream is spectacular!!!🎵🎼🎶🎸🥁🎤🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥
Aerosmith are amazing
Omg, Steven Tyler in his prime, the American Mick Jagger.❤😊
Toys in the attic album 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎

They preformed at my high skewl before they cut this album. Still have the ticket stub. They where just a garage band at thst time from Danvers Ma..
The rock anthem of all time. Not a real fan of theirs but this song was spectacular. Love it.

Dude, this was 1973. Steven Tyler is the lead singer. He was 25 but wrote this song when he 17!
Rock bands were many time called Hair bands👍

He's got one of the best voices in the bussiness.
He’s honestly a good song writer and if you really think about this song it’s really emotional.
❤❤❤loved this song back in the day. Please please check out Journey Mother Father live in Houston the vocal acrobatics are incredible ❤❤❤

🔥 reaction bruv!
Have you seen Aerosmith/ RunDMC “Walk This Way” collaboration? Great stuff
his voice is much grittier now because he did drugs and drank and all the screaming but he still a ear turner
Please listen to Morgan James' version from Postmodern Jukebox, also.
She trained at Juilliard.
1973, nothing similar in the 80's
This is from the 70s
Combine it with the guitar and you will have the recipe for a song that perfectly fits the tone of a song that should be played at a funeral.
Try the 70's bro
this is not live and is cut a bit

This is a strange version. Not quite the original
