You have so many skills to show us. Keep them coming please. Your videos get my mind away from the horrible city I live in. Bless you !
Thank you, I will
@@seanthesheepman5845 love the videos that music makes me hit the mute button though😂
@@seanthesheepman5845 Please continue the music! This channel has doubled as a music 'discovery service' since the algorithm brought it to me!
This channel is so much more than just watching fabulous border collies moving sheep. We are getting a full picture of what sheep farming is really like. It's so interesting! Thanks to Stacie for having Sean do this.
Thank you for sharing your life with us. We always enjoy watching your videos, love from Canada
No problem thanks for watching
Texas as well. Thank you for sharing and teaching us how this is really done. Much appreciated.♥️
Storm was eager to work today!
Sean your care for your animals is very much appreciated. Kate and Echo are both very enjoyable watching.
How nice…this must feel better for the sheep. Keeping them clean and comfortable from flies! They sting and bite! This is so great….love seeing how animals should be cared for! Lovely…..
Herding those sheep is a serious challenge!
I would be thrilled to see Storm running at full speed with the GoPro!
I think he's done it once before, but I can't remember which dog
Sean did a vid where he put it on Storm when he was doing other non herding work to show what Storm gets up to - she's constantly on the move lol. Think it's called 'what do they do when not herding' it'll be in his vid list.
There's also another few vids with gopro dog view. Very entertaining
The thing I like about your channel is it gives me hope in the human race that people actually care about the animals and the humans around them.
Thank you so much
I love the way you care for your herd of Hebrideans, Sean! You just get right to work, with the help of your trusty assistants, Storm and Echo! RIP camera harness!
Just wonderful, im so impressed and learned something too.
Thank you
Thank you, sheep, for your wool that keeps us warm. And thank you to caring sheep people like Sean who treat them well. With love from Vermont, USA.
This is a fantastic channel! The insight into your life in Scotland, the amazing border collies, and the natural beauty is so uplifting. Thank you. Love from California
Ditto from Washington State.
Same here from Michigan.
Same here Texas, and Massachusetts
0 I had a border collie smartest dog and best buddie I had she lived 18 years great years with her ❤❤❤❤
Seventeen years for mine. She took my heart with her.....no dogs like them.
That must feel so good to them. Love your videos Sean.
Great video Sean, I enjoy learning about caring for sheep. See you in the next one!
Glad you enjoyed it
People do not truly understand the amount of strength it takes to hold a struggling sheep and clip it's butt at the same time. Well done
That’s what Velcro gloves will do
I miss the wide outdoor range. Hop on a four wheeler, just for fun or checking fences, horses and cows. Your channel brings the outdoors inside for us viewers. Thank you, Sean. That'll do! 😂❤
Another fabulous video showcasing those clever dogs. Thanks for sharing Sean!
Glad you enjoyed it
I just love these videos too! Why do they bring tears to my eyes? Possibly because I see the amazing intelligence of these dogs, the slow walk, fast run, creep along, response to your commands, they never cease to amaze me. Then we have the calmness of one dog and the excited eagerness of Storm who cannot wait to get up and at em literally! He so makes me laugh, so within ten minutes I have laughted and cried, howzat for a quick emotional trip! PS I would love you to make a calendar of pictures similar to the ones that introduce the beginning of your videos - extra income for you too!?
These are the most happiest & smartest dogs EVER!!
Makes me wanna buy a farm full of sheep just so I can have happy boarder collies just like this!
❤❤❤❤❤
I love watching the dogs work and seeing the beautiful countryside!! Thank you!!
Beautiful, all the white blossoms on the hedges, and the lush ground-growth. You'd never think there was such a small tail under all that fur!
Thanks Sean, love the music by the way- gets my mind focused on the video and quiets it as well!! Love the black sheep too,
so cute! The dogs are always amazing✌🏼🥰
The dogs are beautiful. A joy to watch working.
It is so fun and calming to watch these beautiful dogs work!!! Thank you so much for sharing this with us!!!
Thanks, Sean. A lovely day in Scotland beats a day anywhere else! I could just smell the fresh air 😊
You’ve trained some great dogs there. I love your calm demeanor with them. Thank you for these videos!
Great video. I grew up on a farm in Ontario, Canada. We didn’t have sheep, but seeing you doing all the farm chores in your videos reminds me of how much I miss it.
Enjoyed your video. Thankyou and have an awesome Sunday !
Thank you! You too!
Another good one, Sean. Thanks for sharing.
There is so much more to farming sheep than I realized! Thanks Sean!
Amazing work you do with these beautiful dogs
As a counselor I hear many sad/ trauma stories. Your videos bring a breathe of fresh air to my soul. We have a border collie lab mix. She is awesome. It is fun to see similar mannerisms in your dogs as I see in her.
Thank you. Oh and I am of Scottish ancestry ❤️
Your dogs are a delight to watch. Their speed and responses to you are amazing. Thanks for sharing your world with us.
I always end these videos with a big smile on my face 😊 I can't get enough of seeing you work, the dogs and what caring for sheep look like. You never really get to see this much. And of course the...
That'll do! 😄
Thank you so glad you enjoyed the videos
Love the dogcam. I was surprised how steady it was while the dog was running. All those horns, and not a one tried to ram you. 😊
Storm and Echo did their job very well. Its my first time watching clipping of the tails 😍.
Sean, it is always entertaining watching your well trained dogs work the sheep. 🥰❤️🙏😂🤣
I love border colli !!❤
I just love doggie cam!
Very cool Sean. My son loves Scotland. He spent a semester there when in medical school for a school program that students traded places in different countries and he absolutely loved the country and the people. He wants to retire there someday when he's older and after he has a successful practice.
Be well sir and God speed to you and your family and friends sir.
❤
Thank you for these wonderful videos! My ancestors had woolen mills in Langholm, Scotland. I have photographs etc of their farms and have visited there. Don’t know if they had border collies! We had an amazing border collie mix we named Abby. I trained her to stay in our yard etc. I rescued her from being killed at the dog pound. We loved her so much and she us! I miss her.
Hi Sean, I just found your channel today and I’ve loved watching your videos, your dogs are a joy to watch and I’ve really enjoyed seeing the beautiful countryside. Thank you for sharing such an interesting insight into your life and work.
That was smashing to watch. The grass looks so very verdant, like a green oasis compared to all the streets where I live. Lovely.
Glad you enjoyed it
Watching Storm be a bit of a dafter was so fun! I am so conditioned to think that Border Collies are perfectly obedient all the time. To hear Storm being corrected with a tiny bit of exasperation is a reminder that he's a typical goofy, loveable, adorable, wonder-if-there-is-only-one-brain-cell-in-their-head kind of dog and not just a perfectly obedient herding machine.
Awesome, Sean, you work very hard and smart! Great Eco and Storm too!
Thanks so much!
Love all your videos. Thank you for Sharing

Another lovely video of working dogs. Thank you.
this is so cool. i haven't seen this practice mentioned in the other shearing youtube channels. (maybe they have done it but i just haven't seen them). anyway thanks for showing us another glimpse of sheep maintenence! by the way, are the sheep (or cattle) going to be the ones that will eat the overgrown grass? thanks for sharing as always
All dog and sheeps are lovely. Bordercollisar are best, smart
I totally enjoyed watching “doggie cam”.
Seeing the world from the dog’s perspective was awesome.

Oh dear with the Go-Pro harness. Too much fun. Beautiful black sheep.
They're raring to go today!!! Hope you guys are doing well. We'd love to get a 'Hi' from Stacy soon!! Hope she is feeling well. Hi Stacy - Sean is looking GREAT! You are doing a great job!!! Can you get him to sheer those sheep while he is shirtless??? :)
Thanks
😂
Stormie and Echo……Mommy and Son….the Magnificent Duo!! 💙🩷💙🩷
Love her floppy ears! Beautiful scenery!
I've recently found your channel and love it, thank you! I used to have a border cross who grew up with my kids, and he was an amazing dog!! He was my first dog since leaving home and having my own house, I couldn't have wished for a better dog, so easy to train and brilliant with my kids. I've not been able to have a dog since. Love your dogs, and you're very lucky ❤️
Learning something new every video!! Hope Stacy is feeling well and healthy!! Take care until next time!❤️
Love your videos they're not only entertaining but a great teaching tool. Thank you.
Your videos are always so good ,loved the camera on the dog ❤
The Hebridean are a lovely breed!
I think so too!
Nice to see you and the dogs working.
About a decade ago, I learned how to spin wool into yarn, but I never could master the technique of washing and carding the wool which comes first so I had to buy my roving, lol. These sheep look like they have very long fiber, which would be easy to spin, and would make a lovely sweater!😊
Hello from South Carolina, USA! 🏖🏄🏽♀️ 🌊 Love these videos! Respect for you, Sean, and what amazing border collies! 💯
Your videos always make me smile.
This was so interesting and I got my daily dose of the amazing duo, Storm and Echo. Love from Michigan
I got to visit in Scotland with a sheherd and his dogs. It was an amazing experience.
I’m a new subscriber and thrilled to find your channel. You came up in my recommended video list, probably due to my sub with The Hoof GP. I love Scotland, the scenery, the history, everything about your beautiful country. I’m completely in love with your sidekicks❤️ When Storm hesitates he looks like his mind is working out The Plan. Delighted to be here👍
I’ve just found your channel and I am so enjoying your content. A relaxing, entertaining, and educational site.
You bless us with each video.
The sheep waiting to be sheered look so concerned 😂😂
It's amazing how much wool is in such a small area. Thanks for sharing. I still think their little bums are gonna be a bit chilly. 😄
Sorry about your camera.
Seeing the gopro footage you can get an idea what's going through Storm's mind: 'it's so much fun chasing these sheep why bother listening to that guy yelling?'
Thanks for sharing the shearing
I've been meaning to compliment you for quite some time about your music choices when you decide to play music over the video. I loved the music you played today... I seem to always love your choices. Remember when you took one of the dogs exploring through the woods to find the old ruins? I remember especially loving that music!
Wow, thank you! Glad you like it
I like the Storm's-eye view!
Fantastic vid, just done same today with a hurdle of mix ewes, lambs and tups......was struggling, so called in two BCs, "both not fully trained" but both have work backgrounds, both dogs have great recalls ect,
Only used the dogs to pen them.....
And also to help with afew tups, for worm and clip, both dogs was fantastic......Way short of your pack.
anyway the dogs I had was good.
I'm no stock man nor the dogs training is to standards like yours.......
But together we did the job needed.
Enjoyed the video. The grass is lovely...and tall!❤❤
Another WONDERFUL and informative vid Sean!!! ~Cheers! Chris
I am glad to see this video focuses on the sheep rather that just the dogs. Please post more sheep videos that display their personality. So many of your videos show them cowering and fleeing from these black-and-white predators. The big questions on everyone's minds - all 347,000 watchers: are sheep really stupid? are they sweet and good natured?
Love Storm's camera.
I love the Go Pro footage. It’s a shame Storm is not the biggest fan of wearing it😂. Glad she didn’t roll in anything with it on today. Hope your week is going well everyone ❤
Hahah that opening shot when they are hopping like bunnies
I love your channel - just discovered it 2 days ago. It's fun, calming, beautiful, so interesting - love your doggies and how they shepherd the sheep. Had no idea about flies/maggots eating them alive if they're not sheared. Thank You for doing this, teaching us, and sharing your gorgeous doggies with us !!!!!
You are so kind
@@seanthesheepman5845 67 year old retired American living in London - was in Scotland last May, 2023; over to Harris & Lewis & the most beautiful beach in the world: Luskantyre Beach. You're so lucky to live in such a beautiful country!
Sheep's back ready for summer ... 😄
I just love your content and that awesome accent you have Sean good work young man! Absolutely Outstanding!!!
What a surprise to find another sheepfarm in Scotland. 🏴 Has my heart. I found first a cow hooftrimmer, the Hoof GP. Than I found The sheep game. And now this fantastic farm with the most beautiful dogs. A separate 🎤 mic will help you to reach the public better. You were talking while shearing but it was to be heard. I really love your channel. I have had a Scottish Collie as a SOS-dog. He died early, but he was like your border Collies a hard worker. Storm is a bit naughty 😂. Don't you use a wissl for the dogs?
❤ Very interesting facts, didn't know about that. How fun with the go pro on Storm 😃❤❤. Thanks for sharing Sean 🤗❤❤
Your such a good Stewart to your animals. This will certainly keep them healthy. Maybe the little one has a parasite load that's causing this problem that will stunt their growth.
Just a suggestion.
Absolutely really love your channel so glad I found it. I see you have a Whippet. I've had Whippets all my life obviously I love living with them. Your Border Collies are superb. Just love watching them work.
Wow so interesting life on the farm. Love your channel.
Stormy was a little stubborn that day! Lol
What is it about the word border?
Two types of dogs in my former lives - too old and ill to keep them any more.
Border terriers - bravest animals on earth - they'll put their wee bodies between you and a tiger.
And border collies - the most unconditional affection you'll ever find on this planet.
At 80, I miss those guys more than I miss most people in my life.
You have so many amazing skills. Love your videos!!
Those sure are furry critters
Informative about raising sheep.
Seems to me that wool would make great insulation. Could probably wash it well enough for that? Stuff is expensive around here
Beautiful place
Could you do a vid on scouting out potentially hazardous plants and their control? Love the channel
Really interesting. The dogs seemed especially keen today!
Love watching these
Pastore e cani con le palle fumanti, complimenti. Ho visto 3 minuti di video e mi sono iscritto immediatamente
I love the go pro on his back!
