    Pro tip: For an even more convincing effect, use a seltzer/sparkling water bottle and fill in gin tonic or another clear, sparkling drink. This way, security won't get the idea that there even could be gin or vodka inside, as one can feel the pressure on the bottle.

    I did do it yesterday it did take me at least 4 times to get the technique right...a 2 litre cap was easier then the sml 500ml btl caps. My hubby couldn't see the difference when I put all 3 water btls together. Happy days. Thanks. Off to the event today

    In Spain you are not allowed to bring water to the festivals. Its a matter of safety do people wont throw the closed bottles to the artists or public in general

    Many concerts wise to this and only allow empty water bottles. Was thinking flask in shoe. Gets around the wand security check

      Or a plastic flask and you can just have it in your pocket or down your pants. I found the bottles that are used for freezer ice bricks are good since they are flat, made of plastic (so they won't trigger a metal detector), they are cheap (like $2) so you can just throw it away, if you are allowed to bring a cooler with non alcoholic drinks in then you can just put it in there at the bottom (maybe with a few real, unmodified ones too) and it would not look at all out of place (because that is what they are for in the first place), they are often dark blue so you can not see the colour of the liquid inside.
      The only problems are, in a cooler it is obviously not going to be frozen as it should be, but buried under other drinks nobody is going to notice that. And they usually are sealed shut at the opening under the cap, which can actually be good though if you are creative enough to cut the seal off and melt or glue it back on. Or you could just cut it off, put the lid back on and bank on nobody suspecting it enough to open it. But if you do melt the seal back on you will need something like a knife to cut it back off while inside, which you obviously wouldn't be allowed to take in either. Or you could probably punch through it under the cap with a key or nail or something.
      Of course that's only if you go with the "hidden in plain sight" angle. If you just have it shoved down your pants don't bother resealing it. In the unlikely chance they find it in your pants they are going to know what it is anyway, sealed or not.

      Just leave it in there till it’s soft enough, check every minute or so and if it’s still hard put it back in for another minute.

    • @conorgreen1587

      Vodka isn't fizzy so it wont bubble. If you want to take something fizzy take sparkling water :)

    • @lucydog3376
      @lucydog3376 Рік тому

      Straight vodka doesn't have bubbles in it. If you want to smuggle a mixed drink with a carbonated mixer in it just do the same thing except with a bottle of coke (or whatever the mixer is) instead.

    This is pretty good but say you dont want vodka or any clear alcohol like gin, tequila, whatever may pass as water.... Well...
    A plastic flask and you can just have it in your pocket or down your pants.
    I found the bottles that are used for freezer ice bricks are good since they are flat (making them more consealable and less pronounced bump under clothing), made of plastic (so they won't trigger a metal detector), they are cheap (like $2) so you can just throw it away, if you are allowed to bring a cooler with non alcoholic drinks in then you can just put it in there at the bottom (maybe with a few real, unmodified ones too) and it would not look at all out of place (because that is what they are for in the first place) you could even have a few of them in there that are full of booze, they are often dark blue so you can not see the colour of the liquid inside. Plus even the small ones hold like 375ml which is like half a bottle of liqour.
    The only problems are, in a cooler it is obviously not going to be frozen as it should be, but buried under other drinks nobody is going to notice that. And they usually are sealed shut at the opening under the cap, which can actually be good though if you are creative enough to cut the seal off and melt or glue it back on.
