@@andrewdrost6786 DK Summit is basically confirmed. There are four Wii tracks in Mario Kart Tour, there might be 5 tracks from Wii in the pass based on "speculation".

I have fond(ish) memories of Peach Gardens, and it also wasn’t a course I wasn’t really expecting, at least before it got leaked.
This really makes it feel like they're putting in more and more effort with each wave, and I'm all for that.

We knew that Peach Garden was coming back. We know whole Wave 3 already.
DS Peach Garden returns my last played in Mario Kart Wii, missed play this track.
Several years of playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and these new updates are the reasons why we continue.
Unless you're one of the early-adopters that bought it for full price on Wii U and didn't feel like paying $60 more to buy it again on Switch, and then we just gotta kick rocks I guess ^_^

Mario Kart DS was one of the best gaming experiences I ever had, and I'm glad to see Nintendo giving so much attention to this masterpiece.
The tracks look so good, and I like the addition of anti gravity to Merry Mountain. Also, HALF PIPES ARE IN THE GAME!!!!! YES!!!! Also, it really feels like Mario Kart 8 is showing a lot of love to Mario Kart DS, which is great because it was my first Mario Kart.

I feel like it's showing a ton of love to Mario Kart Wii, since a ton of tracks in wii have been added already like coconut mall, mushroom gorge, mario circuit 3, and now peach gardens and even the return of half pipes! If the leak is correct Wii is finally getting the love it deserves after only having 3 tracks in the base game

So what I got from this was:
-Booster Course will have anti-gravity sections (Sky High Sundae had it for the whole track so I don't count that)
-Half-pipe tricks will return
-DS Peach Gardens will return
-MKWii fans are absolutely winning right now

I love how the santa sleigh looks. It gives similar vibes to the train in N64 Rainbow Road. Also a great addition of anti gravity into the track.

Wow. I wasn't a huge fan of Peach's Garden but they just made the visuals 10 times better.
DS Peach Gardens is my second favourite racing course ever, thank you so much for including it. Tour Merry Mountain is also absolutely amazing, I couldn't be happier that it got in. Also, half-pipes are in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe now, that is so good.

While we already knew of these tracks because of a datamine it’s still so exciting seeing peach garden’s look completely different from the original and halfpipe’s.
0:22 just realised that they didnt add the fence near the starting line "chain Chomp" when this beta release was shown off. Must have been to keep the Reverse Varient Lap 3 a secret 🙃
The integration gets better and better with every wave. wave 2 brought better textures and (albeit rushed) antigrav, and now wave 3 is bringing better integrated gravity and HALF PIPES? from Wii? The extra time is really making a lot of difference.
That’s the big thing I noticed is the half pipes. It gives me hope that DK summit can finally be brought back.

Yeah like I'm loving the dlc so mucho but wish they would have added the boost panels, anti grav and half pipes in past waves, like anti grav in waluigi pinball would have looked so cool
Maybe anti grav will be worked in. It probably isn't releasing until December before Christmas. They have plenty of time to rework some, not all, tracks to have anti grav. Like Waluigi Pinball and Sky Gardens would be great!

@@simnm8057 well they updated Coconut Mall Cars for wave 2 and kept the non moving cars for time trials so it's not entirely impossible.
Peach Garden gave me chills. I remember that boss battle in the map. Driving through the tall flowers thinkin I’m slick

I'm glad to see they're incorporating more anti-gravity sections in this wave after basically excluding it from the first two. Let's hope there's more anti-grav and underwater sections in wave 3!

@@Khal3 Merry Mountain is the only course in wave 3 shown to have anti-gravity so far.
The ability to drive underwater isn't a gimmick. All it changes is your physics so they're floatier.
These stages look genuinely good. Peach garden looks like an actual 8 track, it's not 1to1 as high quality as the base tracks, but it's still good looking
The tracks are amazing but the thing that excites me is when MARIO DOES THE WII CORNER TRICK, it means they are bringing some with that mecanic and I have in my head DK mountain AND/OR rainbow road wii

@@harrybest2041 Wii Rainbow Road wasn't datamined. The prefix leak that showed all the prefixes from where these remastered courses originated from (SNES, N64, GBA, GCN, DS, Wii, 3DS, Tour) showed that the final course in the Spiny Cup is going to be a Wii course.
The fans *ASSUME* that this final course is Wii Rainbow Road. I've yet to see any actual references to the course itself. It's just an assumption.
Half pipes being confirmed is all we need to know. DK Summit is basically inevitable now

These are great news!! Welcome back DS Peach Gardens with that amazing glow up. However, I would like having seen the GBA course for this wave 3 as there's one hidden. Hope this kind of trailers keep going.

@@blazepug9505 Eh, if they want to keep up the trend of introducing 1 retro that hasn't returned in the past per wave (which they very well might not), then we'll probably get a different track for Halloween. I'd say Banshee Boardwalk, but the main thing it has going for it is its presence in Mario Kart DS (which currently has 10/16 of its retros in the game). And its weird cooler would probably be an object in the files that hasn't yet been found, so I dunno. But apparently, the way Tour organizes its tracks in the files is alphabetized, and there's only a blank slot that corresponds to Boo Lake, not Broken Pier

The tracks look BEAUTIFUL in this wave. Nintendo keeps improving with each wave. Wave 1 looked kinda ugly; Wave 2 looked a LOT better, but still had some rough spots, and Wave 3 looks like it will be even better than that

@@intervalgaming6196 crackpot theory: they had a new group do these Booster Course Pass stages, and they seem to be learning from their previous errors and iterating to make it better, thus giving themselves a chance to see how far they’d come
@@jwil4286 I legit think that the main group is either working on Arms 2 (or something similar) or MK9. Latter is more likely. And they just gave the Tour Team a job to port 48 tracks to deluxe.
I love that even though Wave 1 was rushed, the booster improves more and more. They are really listening to criticism

@@jwil4286 Not a crackpot theory, I had the EXACT same thought - what if the BCP team is just a bunch of underpaid newbies who were hired to pad out the release schedule? Who knows, they might be more active on the internet than the more experienced Nintendo devs and catch wind of a lot of this criticism. It's exciting!!

I love the visual upgrades! Peach Gardens actually looks like it's name makes sense! Before it was kinda just a garden themed around Peach which happened to have her castle. And now it's literally in her backyard!

They made the polygon Baby Mario topiary into a grown up Mario look at how much my boi has grown 🥲. Also Merry Mountain looks amazing

The graphics get better with every wave, Merry Mountain's utilisation of Anti-Gravity actually makes sense and isn't shoehorned in (unlike Sky-High Sundae), AND Halfpipes are back!? (albeit, they look like anti-grav strips, but that's such a minor detail it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.)

With how they're finally adding half pipes to the game and the fact thst they updated Coconut Mall to make the cars move, it makes me wonder if Nintendo will add half pipes to the courses from the base game like Warios Gold Mine.

More characters is kind of pointless. There really are only as many characters as there are weight classes because characters within each class have almost identical stats, with only miniscule differences that barely make a difference in practical play.
And there are already so many karts/parts that multile pieces give the same stats, so more is completely redundant.
No, dedicate _all_ development toward new tracks, because that's what brings new gameplay.

@@alondite215 While your points do make sense, there's a certain magical feeling to new aesthetic coatings to existing "base models", and I'm a sucker for that :D There's a reason Fortnite skins (all on top of same base skeleton) are so popular 😇 and also the reason why a game like Marvel vs Capcom Infinite met with backlash due to its lacking roster, despite other characters fulfilling the same roles.

Showing this so far off from the release feels like a "shut tf up" to all the people who were LOSING IT waiting for Wave 2's announcement.
But still, I am really happy to see them learn. They gave us a rough estimate of when Wave 3 will drop, which is exactly what I would want them to do,
so now people (hopefully) won't be begging for it ever week XD

Omg with each wave the textures and overall tracks keep improving. May the improvments keep on growing through all the waves and may they improve past waves.
Merry Mountain easily without a doubt is probably the best looking course out of the whole DLC pass, it's almost close to base game quality
If they brought back these tracks so far…then we might have hope for 3DS Rainbow Road, Rock Rock Mountain and both Wuhu Islands.

Can’t wait for peaches garden
Peach Gardens looks really good! Can’t wait to race on that one, even if it wasn’t one of the 5 remaining tracks on my dlc wishlist. Still, with 6 more tracks left to see in wave 3 and 3 more waves to come, my wishlist tracks can definitely still make it!
I want to see N64 Wario Stadium. Only N64 track that hasn't returned yet.
We assumed merry mountain would have antigravity but I'm glad they add it for the whole track

Omg the freakin added anti-gravity to a "retro" track. Finally! What took them so long? Hope they remember to add the gimmik to the upcoming tracks! Also Peach Gardens looks FREAKIN beautiful! Ohhh this must mean the leaks were real 😳😳
