  • This past installment of the Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine grand rounds, on Friday, April 19, 2024, focused persistent depressive disorders as described by Dr. Sandra M. Lowe.
    Sandra M. Lowe, MD, is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Director of the World Trade Center Mental Health Program at the Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai. In her role as Medical Director, she is responsible for oversight of all administrative and clinical operations and leads a large team of mental health professionals who provide psychiatric assessment and treatment services to over 23,000 World Trade Center responders. She has focused on guiding programmatic development to increase access to mental health services, addressing stigma, and promoting education in evidence-based practices and suicide prevention.
