0-100 km/h in only 2.8 seconds is extremely good for a bike! It is also impressive that 100-200 km/h takes just 4 seconds or less. 0-200 in 6.8 is very quick! Bravo. It is stunning that the 1/4 mile was covered in only 9.7 seconds on a street bike, on the highway! This is the performance you expect from a tuned Porsche 911 992 Turbo S. Of course the Tesla Model S Plaid is even faster with 1/4 mile time on a road being approximately 9.5 seconds or lower....

Engine mode 1 (maximum power) of course ;) Traction Control mode 1 (the lowest, but not off), and Wheelie Control mode 1 (the lowest, but not off). But if I'm right at Launch Control the wheelie control works different. At launch control start the wheelie control automatically keeps the front wheel always on the ground or just slightly above. Just as you can see in MotoGP for example.
I guess it was Setting 1, the lowest, therefor the highest wheelie possible. But at Launch Control the wheelie setting is fix, it keeps the wheel just slightly above the ground, just like in MotoGP.

Jo, die Competition ist natürlich etwas leichter (Volltitananlage, Carbonräder etc.). Nur leider konnte ich keine offiziellen Daten zum Gesamtgewicht mit M Competition Paket im Internet finden (nur einzelne Gewichtseinsparung durch die Titanalage 2,7kg und die Carbonräder 1,6kg). Hast du hier eine Quelle für mich?
Lohnt sich überhaupt der Umstieg von der 2021 S1000R auf die M1000R. Was wären die Kriterien, die dafür sprechen. Denn außer, dass die M1000R von 0-200 Km/h etwa 1 Sekunde schneller ist als die S1000R und der Durchzug von 200-250 Km/h ebenfalls, sehe ich da keine großen Vorteile gegenüber der S1000R. Beim Topspeed sind es hier maximal 10 Km/h mehr. Da frage ich mich, wozu BMW die Übersetzung in den Gängen 4, 5 und 6 kleiner gemacht hat, wenn der Motor dermaßen genug Power hat. Wird es z.B mit Brenntune mehr Topspeed rauszuholen sein? Gibt es da schon Leute in Deutschland, die das gemacht haben?
Musst du anders sehen, die S1000 R ist 25% langsamer 100-200 als die M. Du hast immer deutlich mehr Leistung anliegen, braucht man natürlich nicht, aber wenn man danach geht braucht man auch die Leistung einer S1000 R nicht. Die Übersetzung wurde für besseren Durchzug auf der Landstraße angepasst und der Topspeed elektronisch limitiert

Manchmal gehn nur so 285 wie beim video und manchmal stopts bei 295 und alles unter selben bedingungen und im selben bereich. Also ich hatte die S1000R nur für ne Probefahrt und die MR jetzt fest. Muss aber schon sagen das da ein deutlicher unterschied ist und vorallem wenn man ab und an mal Trackdays fahren möchte bist du mit der MR deutlich besser bedient

210 hp on any bike is ridiculous, on a naked bike it's absolutely bonkers. My Z800 only has like 113 hp and even with I think that's way more power than anyone needs. 180 km/h is unbearable when untucked
@@bazitube390 True. I daily use my bike, and 99% of the time my throttle is only at 20%, and even then sometimes that's too fast. Even with the more spirited riding on the weekend, I rarely go over 50% throttle. I can't imagine 200 hp.
I dont like being the guy to poke holes in content, but since you do indicate the dragy times afterwards i will only critique the Gopro timings. How come the 1/8th mile is completed in 7.4s at 159 yet the 0-200 is achieved in 7 seconds flat. Will trust the dragy timings and not gopro.

But thanks for the hint :) As an engineer I can tell you: you cannot trust any measurement method. No one is 100% correct ;)
In naked layout 4 cyl bikes are not good. Going over 80mph (130kmh) the wind pressure is a big problem. 2 cyl with proper torque is way to go. It's all about torque, comfort and tractability wirh naked bikes. W800 rules. 😊

Chicos dejen de inventar la rueda porque ya está invertida hace tiempo. Ese mismo motor en un 1000rr pista mas ligero, mas aerodinámico y mucho mas comodo para el piloto a grandes velocidades . Sin contar que acelera mejor y llega a 320 y no a 275 ( la real) como una 600 rr pista ( da lastima la verdad) . Decent speed. Nothing fantastic but fine. Same with acceleration. The bike is butt ugly imo but whatever floats your boat. The S1000RR is so beautiful though.
But this bike is £22k how much is a turbo S? 😂. I had one on loan today, it’s totally bonkers. Had a great time. 14k rpm is quite something. The quick shift is very smooth even on the 1-2 changes if you have it pinned.
