Unboxing My New DW Drumset + Painting a Drum

I just got a used Performance Series DW set. But I really enjoy playing a one-up, two-down configuration, so I took one of my old set's floor toms and cut it down and painted it. It matches well enough to satisfy me while I'm playing. (I can't see it from there anyway!)
I can also tell I need to work on tuning the 12" - there were some overtones in there that I didn't like. But the audio and video are both coming from my iPhone, so who knows, really.

I like the DW wrap and great job painting the second floor tom. You are lucky. I am owned by 5 cats and all that paper would have been hideouts for foot attacks and the box would have been base camp called Camp Kitty
