- I love the drama so much ! I was worried at first but they respected the novel very well despite the censorship. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan are amazing and they are perfect for the roles.
The Untamed is now in my top drama list. I'm glad 2019 succeeded to provide me at least something that didn't disapoint me lol
I surely will make another video about them when the drama is over, there are too many scenes I love that I couldn't put in my video !

This is just lovely. It perfectly portrays their relationship for what it is even without the explicitness we're used to from Western shows. That's what I really respect about the directing and writing. That despite the censorship, it didn't feel like anything was missing from their love story.
I realized that the only kiss we got to see in the show wasn't even between one of the romantic het couples - it was between a nasty old lech (Jin clan leader) and a prostitute making out around a grape they were sharing, lmao.

“Devil’s on your shoulder, strangers in your head” it really speaks about Wei Ying. The things he needs to do to keep his promise, the promises he needs to break for a good reason. Every character on this Drama speaks different personalities that you will love one way or another. This drama is really one of a kind. I don’t think it will be easier for me to forget this gem.

Thank you to The Untamed for giving me something to sob over everyday and become an emotion wreck while also being able to laugh and scream throughout this show and cry tears of joy at the same time. Thank you for introducing me to two amazing idols/actors and being able to stan two amazing idol boy-bands. Thank you for introducing me to the bl genre and much more shows that these actors have acted in. Thank you for letting me fangirl over a fiction world and an intimate novel for more over a year. Thank you for raising my standards in men (seriously). I owe it all to his one drama. Thank you. 🥺

1:37 is quite possibly my favorite thing ever. The beautiful coloring and how he looks up slowly with tears in his eyes. Fuck that look… honestly I don’t know how Yi Bo did it. The way he conveyed his emotions is mind boggling to me. Insane.

This has me an absolute mess. After finishing The Untamed my heart felt full yet empty at the same time. The scripting team, cast and crew did such an amazing job showing this story of unconditional love without even needing the "bl scenes" of the original story. This drama makes you still feel and understand how pure and beautiful their love is. @Solariene you did an absolutely amazing job capturing that with this edit. I watched this series because UA-cam was stubborn enough to put this in my recommendations. So I watched a few fan-made videos and cracks until I eventually decided to give it a try... I binge-watched the whole series in a week (thanks to lockdown days, I guess) and I have no regrets whatsoever, I haven't been so caught in a series in a while. I come back to the fan-made videos with a totally different feeling now, as I relate to every scene that I see. This video, in particular, makes me feel the whole contrast of feelings in the characters and how they both struggled to keep their own way despite everything else, as well as hold on to each other by doing so. It was a very good choice of music and scenes, so thank you, creator, for this beautiful piece!
I've watched dozens of Wangxian FMVs, but I keep coming back to this one. The music is just the right amount of pensive, exquisite, and angsty, much like the relationship between Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian. Anyone watching this can easily see the deep, abiding love they have for each other.

Throughout this whole day in school I have been humming this song quietly, letting it remain and repeat in my mind. Remembering this FMV and the scenes it portrayed. I ended up being depressed and falling asleep in my art class but getting waked up by my art teacher later on. Do I regret it, certainly not.
