I think when someone watches donghua after reading novel, it is somewhat different, because due to the chinese law of film censure (no open homosexual content), there can be only soft hints but behind them there is one big meaning in their relationship, one must just find it out (there is much more behind scenes as those with rabbits, forehead ribbon, funny drawing of Lan Zhan or even the whole story plot. *****SPOLERS******* In novel they even confessed, kissed, had sex and married so no bromance really :D

I am into vampires,werewolves,mermaids,demons etc. i myself read this not knowing it was BL at first until close to the end where LAN Wangji’s brother told Wei Wuxian that his brother loves him and broke many rules because of him. Also the drunk scene where Wei Wuxian was giving Lan Wangji a bath. Then that favorite confession and ch. 111 blew my mind. The romance was low key and I would never guessed that LAN Wangji had fallen in love with Wei Wuxian. Someone had pointed it out to me that the novel was BL because LAN Wangji had kissed Wei Wuxian when he was night hunting and blind folded himself on top of the tree. I did not even know that he was kissed by LAN Wangji. Hahaha
I like their tandem...bromance...though lan zhan (wang yibo) who is serious didn't seems worried for wei ying (xiao zhan) who is playful and naughty...but they're protecting each other more than just a friend...

Please don't disrespect WangXian like that..and just slot them under the 'just friendship' category(lwj did not wait for wwx for 13 years in yearning and longing just to be termed as friendship or bromance).The drama obviously cannot show the explicit scenes coz of censorship,but they would never dare make them straight either or else many will riot.They are canon gay couple in the og novel,married and their love is the most epic(really I,a mere human cannot describe the epicness)...and the center of it all and the main thing that tied the story between them.They finally have their happy ending together after all the sufferings.(And ofc they have papapa everyday).I also praised the drama because..damn,they pulled it off,they actually pulled it off despite the censorship..and they never kill the love between them either.Even in the drama those who can see and feel the bl hints and the love between them are intellectuals....they cannot hide it all coz WangXian are too powerful.

I really do just absolutely love this. It's definitely not the first time i've watched this video. What I love is how well the song actually fits them and the moments you chose are excellent too. The funny thing is that whilst watching it all I can think is that actually there is someone that knows about them and ofc that Lan Xichen who very clearly ships them XD
