Yep human greed is insatiable - especially with a universal commodity like gold. The only way Parker could be sure is to personally supervise every cleanup.

A couple of things. First, not everyone is a dirty thief, and that is most definitely theft. Second, this is processed through the plant and not something you are just going to put in your pocket. Third, once it's in this state, it's kept in a safe. If you steal, you're stealing from everyone's cut. Stealing from your team in the middle of nowhere with no place to run and no one to save you is pretty stupid.
Seems like a lot of loot would love to know what the running costs per day works out at.

The dude's a young greenhorn and he's willing to move to bumfuck and work 12 hrs a day in machines for very decent money. I say he's got much bigger balls than someone who makes a comment like that. Bad decision making from women's limiting beliefs
As an engineer, general contractor and prospector. I have to ask how much money/gold is enough for you? All I see is devastated land, abandoned mines and people like this just walking away one day. They've DESTROYED THAT VALLEY & WATERWAY!
Surely as part of the Mining License they have to restore the site as much as possible? Can't speak for the Gold Mines in the US & Canada but if they do half the job that the restoration of the former Coal Mines here in the UK have achieved in the 40 Years since most of the Mines closed, Then an eyesore will soon be reclaimed by Nature.
@bremnersghost948 I'm from Oklahoma. We have the worst mining catastrophe in modern history. And nobody care. it's destroyed the water. The miners and companies walked away just like they do today. Rich and my hometown destroyed. I now live in AZ. Nothing of Wickenburg a mining company. aused land to be so damaged polluted, it's been fenced off not safe for humans. The company still exists and nobody's fixing it. They're family's are all wealthy. They walk away from the shame and devastating destruction.
I mean water inspectors come through those sites frequently and shut down, there was examples of this for Fred Lewis on his claim, it would be much the same for parker. The "overburden" is all moved into 1 spot and after the sites have been dug to bed rock, the overburden is moved back. The only thing thats really left to show they were there is the coarse tailings aka washed rocks. So I dont think overall they have "destroyed" anything.
