I'm not a fan of Ed's music, not because I don't like the lad, he's a very likable guy and very talented, but because it just doesn't do it for me. To me, this was one of those songs that should never be touched but the lad done a great job on it here. What I love about this performance is that he comes across as a lad just playing along to the song in his room and having fun with it. He doesn't have to change the song to make it his own. Well done Ed, I may just try again with your own music. Bravo!!

Brilliant in it's simplicity of the original and all about the groove and the funk. Wish I was in the audience as not all covers can capture what Ed and Co seemed to squeeze out of this classic!

I agree, Madeleine. It is a gift. The control he has and confidence in his voice & skill make it a pleasure to watch/listen to him . I'd think there's a fair bit of hard work & practise in there too though.
