The best Lamborghini ever made. And those who have acquisition of the 5 SV manuals that exist, are very fortunate. The Aventador will never live up to what the Murciélago was no matter the iteration.
Except the Aventador S/SVJ are everything the Murcielago SV was but 5x better. Better looking, nicer interior, much better handling and safety, faster with a newly built better NA V12.
My absolute unquestionable all time dream car!!......What else looks like this, sounds like this, and is bonkers like this. The last proper Lamborghini!!! Amen to the 670 SV Murci....
An absolute masterpiece. The pinnacle of what a TRUE Lamborghini should ever be and Lamborghini's last hurrah before Audi really took the reigns. And omg that noise! It sends shivers down my spine every single time I hear it rev out or downshift 🤤 dream car doesn't even come close
This is my favourite Lambo of the 21st century. I saw Top Gears Richard Hammond racing this car along the deserted highways of Dubai nearly 20 years ago. Ive been in love with that machine ever since, that gorgeous V12 sound and the beautiful profile of that supercar. The Murcielago LP-670 SV is one of my ‘Money No Object’ dream cars for life ❤
I remember maxing this car out on Gran Turismo and turning up the TV to max volume so I could listen to the V12 when I accelerated. One of my dream cars for sure. Sounds crazy.
Absolutely awesome video guys, I was there all day and know the amount of effort these guys put in to produce videos of this calibre, well done to all the TeamSCD
First I have to thank you for bringing the most savage Lamborghini Murcielago built to date, with the color of launch. It's a very rare car in nowadays, but it's still a beauty such a beast with that ultimate aero pack. The noise is a pure symphony imagine if Novitec just put a race exhaust on that will be the ultimate Lamborghini Sound. Brilliant way to finish the Series.
The first fast car I ever drove/was fortunate enough to drive, was a first gen 6.2 Murcielago. Even after working at a Mclaren dealership in the past, and driving all different types of supercars, the Murci is still my all time favorite. Not quite as fast as some of the modern Mclaren's but the sound of that v12 is just unforgettable. Had the opportunity to start up a Murci SV and rev it when I was younger, but wasen't lucky enough to drive it. Still thankful I at least got to drive a Murci. My favorite Lamborghini.
My absolute favorite car ever since the day it released in my elementary school years. If I had a hero as a kid, it would've been this car. I had posters of it in my room, I drove it just about every time I played gran tursmo, and I made drawings of it countless times. Absolutely the best lamborghini ever made and it is on the top of my bucket list to drive one of these one day.
Seeing that scene at 5:40 gave me chills. The buildup and sensation you feel of pushing a Lamborghini to it’s limits is insane. It’s an exclusive experience that it does not share with any other car.
This is a beautiful as well as stunning car, plus the howling is just glorious to the point where it would echo in the mountain background, this car is a old school f1 sounding lamborghini supercar. The last true rare old school Lamborghini ever made, as well as the greatest lamborghini of all time.
Absolutely one of the best Murcielago videos. Thanks to you guys, I actually bought a white LP640 after watching your earlier vid on the LP640 (white one with the Italian racing stripe). Thanks!
This brought memories back of driving a Murcielago LP640 round track back in 2010. Great car , sounded epic but the eGear was clunky. Worked ok on track mind.👍👍
Years ago I followed a white Murciélago north on I95 from Miami to Fort Lauderdale in my Porsche 968. Traffic was very light and we maintained an effortless and safe 90-120, considerate of everyone on the road. I’ll never forget that signature final exhaust sweeping up from the road. I wished I could have said hello to that driver.
Still my no. 1 dream car. The sound of of the Aventador doesn't hold a candle to this or the LP640. Allegedly there were 5 SVs ordered with a manual. :O I can't even imagine driving one of these with a gated shifter.
Yesterday I was walking out of the restaurant after dinner. It was quiet and not much traffic and suddenly a Mustang Shelby (which are very rare where I live) drove by. I'm not a fan of american V8's but I learned to appreciate them and the sound was just magical. certain ICE's, especially the NA one's make a very special noise, nearly comparable to an instrument. It's a sound that can not be reproduced and carries so much depth, from high pitch to low pitch frequencies. Then there are cars like this, that have such a variety of sounds integrated that it sounds like a whole symphony composed by an orchestra. There is just something magical when you hear these cars, it honestly makes me nearly cry when I hear them, like if it was the most beautiful symphony I've ever heard. I'm very very sad that this will be most likely a thing of the past, with electric cars, the soul of cars has been taken out. they might be x3 quicker, have better handling, etc. but the most important thing has been cut out. Good thing that there is so much material on the internet to show our grandchildren how the glorious days of car history were.
Love this V12. The origional merci had lines I didnt quite agree with but I loved the Reventon and then the SV, beautiful. I say for the next series, the best of analog cars.
Another superb series, videography is sensational as was Matt, Miles and Jonty’s presentational skills, well done all and what a car to end on, my fave in Dogs kennel 🧡
Phenomenal video! Keep them coming. Said it before and will keep saying it, BMW E60 M5 for the next series and what the heck, throw in an E39 M5 too. And yes, I’m clearly a BMW Fanboy! :-)

Amazing piece of machinery! Some great footage as well! Surprised how much weight they saved in this version over the standard one! Cool seeing the Porsche in the same color. 🍊
Brilliant content, it was worth waiting... What a piece of art of an engine! Side note for the next episodes : it would be awesome to have 20 seconds of engine screaming (just like the too short footage from the engine bay) with the camera fixed on the side of the car so we can see the road ahead 😉
We hope it was worth the wait! This has got to be one of the best V12's ever made, right?

BMW M3 CSL (e46)
Dodge viper
mclaren f1, pagani zonda, aston martin vantage and gordon murray t.50 (when it comes out)

Wrong
I will ask Lamborghini to make 12 for me ALL IN MANUAL that can reach 360 KPH.
@@epicon6 nothing looks better than the Merci SV for me. The new ones will always be faster but this sounds amazing and is just a beauty.

NSX-R, Lexus LFA and Porsche Carrera GT
