Every LP-640 owner is. Only 5 technically 7 of these exist in the world. They rarely come up for sale. This is the first one I see that has been sold, the rarest spec at that. Never would i have imagined the original owner from Switzerland would part ways with it. But, I guess money talks…

What got me into cars was the Murciélago. I’ve always been captivated by the back end and the lights-there’s just something about them that brings back so many memories. While I’ve never had the chance to be in a Murci or see an SV in person (though I have seen a few of the standard models), the lights and the rear of the SV are what really stand out to me. I may never get to see an SV, but I’m thrilled that Ron bought one and is actually driving it instead of just keeping it hidden away in a garage. Congratulations, Ron! You truly deserve it!

What a car, I've said to myself at the 1st min of the video "there like 5 Murcy SV manual" from what I've heard, because this is my hiscool graduation 2003 and after favorite car, when I was a kid-kid, the Diablo was the wild wide Lambo, but I love Murcy's, LP640 with gated with SV kit, I don't care the bumpers are changed, the back with these 2 verical fins is so unique OMG! To think that this is the real car. What a machine!
The interior color is called Avorio Lillium or Ivory Lily in English, not Crema. And that speed wing is a very rare option, good for 3 mph faster than the SVs with the big, high downforce wing. Congrats

I've driven in enough states to know only New York holds a candle to the chaos here. If you want to protect that car take it far from away from FL, with haste. As far as Ad Personam cars, I believe the first ones were at the 2009 Detroit Auto Show, Lamborghini showed off a matte blue LP640 and a matching matte blue LP560-4 Gallardo. The LP640 was e-gear and was sold this year 2024 for $320k I think, but it was a beautiful spec. Either way, this SV is a dream car, beautiful acquisition Ron!!! Hope you put a lot of miles on her and continue to share her with the public’s eye as I know you will. This is for sure a dream car of a generation.

2 million dollars for a very rare car like this, is quite low comparatively, something like a Carrera GT is around 1.5-2 million dollars now. A LaFerrari in rossa corsa is around 3 million dollars, tailor made one's are much more.
I remember when he bought it many though he was crazy for not getting the big wing. His also has the small SV script. Roy also said the manual was a $10k option and had to get approved by the factory.

I don’t think you understand the difference between a one off chassis and a chassis variant. F1 has its own unique experience that you cannot achieve in ANY other car. However, you can go for a 95% experience with a gated 640. It will always sit higher than any other merci just like TDF’s and speciales.

There are several reasons for this statement, beyond just inflation. This car is the best and most uniquely specced version of a model that exists in single digits. While you mentioned that you can get a similar experience with a gated manual LP640, I can't comment on that since I've never driven a Murciélago. That being said, the LP 640 manual is extremely rare, with only 88 coupes and 16 roadsters in existence, making it an expensive proposition in its own right. Moreover, driving experience alone isn't the only factor driving prices up. If that were the case, many JDM cars that have seen extreme price increases wouldn't have, as they often feel underpowered in stock form. Yet, a stock JDM car is far more valuable than the same car tuned to 1,000+ horsepower. I have no doubt that this car is a unicorn, and its value will rise astronomically, especially considering its place among rare Lamborghinis.

Hence, production number can only impact a cars value to a certain extent. Simply put their are two main reasons why it will never be equal to an F1: One, with inflation and market demand if the prices of SV goes up, so will that of F1/F1 GTR. Two, before this car, there are probably 15-20 cars, way more unique in terms of engineering and automotive art, which WILL dictate the price of this specific car. For example From a collectors perspective, would you buy a 1 of 5 merci ( chassis variant ) for $15 million or a CLK GTR 1 of 26 chassis.

Ron it is impeccable and infallible but to put your personal touch I think the shade of gold on the rims could be tweaked to a more complimentary shade . Perhaps a titanium champagne or a rose gold shade . Just throwing my 2 cents your way . My buddy had an 82 camaro in basically the same pallet as the SV . And it was rare and stunning back then as today .

Hey Ron, The reason it feels tighter is because your point of reference is a roadster. (Roadster dont have a roof) This reduces the ridgity of the car over the coupe models.
The last pure Lambo, wow. Only thing I’d do different is keep the SV rear wing. Murci’s look even better with that spoiler. But what do I know, I drive an F150.
Quite literally the best Lambo ever made… If I had an SV manual, I’d RWD convert it, commission Akrapovic to build an exhaust for it, slap some HRE forged wheels (square set up?), & wrap it in PPF.
I love that the eclectic specs are becoming desired. Makes people ease outside the norms and do something that might not be popular at the time, but thinking about the future of what it may become someday.
