As usual, another fantastic demonstration/explanation of an awesome UVI product
played with it for 5 minutes after install, now 3 hours later I'm totally addicted...
I will say this again. I am very very happy I got the Sonicpass. Had it downloaded in minutes after I saw the email.
Sonic pass is great but I end up buying all of them anyways.

@@10oclocktic In December I received a $60 voucher from UVI as a loyalty reward and then received 2 vouchers for $20 each from UVI as discounts for Traveler because I own another Quadra and World Suite. :)
Love how this series of instruments sounds. I still am not seeing any swing function (which is also generally an important feature for me in any sequencer these days), but being able to drag and drop recorded arpeggiations is a work-around since I can always add swing to MIDI data in your DAW. Thanks @Aaron McPherson for pointing out the export function. I had missed it in the review. And thanks, UVI for adding this important feature.
At 7:19 there is a MIDI export function - you record it, then drag and drop.

We can confirm that the MIDI record and drag-and-drop functions aren't exclusive to the Traveler iteration and were included on previous instruments.

@@UVIofficial Sure enough. I have Quadra & Harmonics and had written to tech support asking about a drag and drop function when I originally purchased. I thought was told there was none, but I must have misunderstood and I didn't catch it in the upper right corner of the ARP window. That is a game changer for my use of the plugin. Thanks for alerting me to this. I apologize if I may have misled any viewers/users!

I'm surprised that there is still no swing function in almost any UVI soundware though.
I think the MIDI 'export' function would allow one to add swing in the user's DAW (as a workaround). For me, that would be best, because the grooves I prefer are programmed there.

I got the UVI sonic pass for Falcon but it doesn't show up in UVI workstation, I'm using Ableon Live and windows 10.
Is the Falcon plugin available as a vst to Sonicpass subscribers?

Hi Cliff,
Falcon will not show up in UVI Workstation, as they are two different instruments, but Falcon should be available for you to download in Portal.
To open it in Ableton Live, open the Browser, go to Plug-ins then Audio Units (or VST), and drag and drop Falcon to a MIDI track.

I have World Suite 2. Besides the layer mixing GUI I wonder what the difference is? World Suite 2 is double the price of this but older. I wonder if Quadra Traveler is pulling samples from World Suite 2 or uses smaller versions of them? Is it all new samples? Will bigger versions of these new samples and more be released as a World Suite 3? Basically why does Quadra Traveler exist and World Suite 3 not? What's in store for World Suite? Did they do this as a cash grab because they think World Suite Owners will buy it and get more money for it possibly than an upgrade would get them?

UVI should try and make these videos more musical than technical. I can read the manual at 120 mph and play the presets with 2 fingers. Music is emotion. Ain’t no emotion in these videos.
