I just bought the same setup. Sc1-R exhaust and upmap from CBC to my 21 Tuono Factory. Appreciate the vids to give me some guides to what I need to do. Hopefully will be installing all of it over the next couple days.
So, I have a 2022 Tv41100 factory. I am upgrading it in stages due to the expense of the equipment. I bought the t800+ first. Question, can take advantage of any of the upmaps prior to buying the airbox, pipe, and servo delete? Would this serve any other purpose than voiding my warrantee? Appreciate the video and the info!
Did you have any issues with the "Urgent Service" light coming on after you installed the exhaust before installing the upmap? I have the RSV4 2023 with the SC project exhaust and the message comes up on my dash almost every other ride and I am being told the upmap will fix this issue.
Awesome video and straight to the point. What bar end mirrors and bar ends you have? Parts number and where you got it from would be great to. Thank you
I have the same setup. SC1-R Muffler (250mm), titanium and Upmap for my 2022 Rsv4 Factory. Do you suggest to remove servo motor and all cables or not? If I remove it do I need to use DIECI83 A3 exhaust servo valve eliminator? I know that Upmap comes with three maps (Stock map-Aprilia race-Gabro racing tuned map) and I examined website of Upmap. If I am not wrong, there are three maps (Standart map USA - RSV4 21 STD US DB03, OEM standard race map - RSV4 21 RACE STD DD03 and Grt map for stock engine and slipon kit - RSV4 21 DEKAT DD03 that fit my bike. What do you think about it?
I have not yet removed my servo motor cables but it is on my list of things to do this year, haha. Enjoy the RSV4. I've been considering making the switch.
Subscribed, great content. I have the same bike as you, looking forward to more. I am thinking about buying this tune as well to pair with my yet to be installed Akra.
Hi, planing to do the up map too on my RSV4 1100. Question can i switch between the maps (stock and gabro) as often as i want? Asking because if i go to my dealer for service i have to do the bike in stock config because of warrenty terms. After service i would again put the aftermarket exhaust on and do again the gabro map. So once downloaded gabro map it stays on my phone and i can switch from stock to gabro as often as i want? Thank you
Great video. I have a question, the device Upmap T800 can read error codes and clear some of them? I'm asking because I want to clear the the "MAINTENANCE ICON" message after I did the oil and filter change. Thanks.
Hello, I have exactly the same bike but in EU version. I think on my bike 1 gear the throttle goes till 75% because of E5 rules. If I put this mapping is gonna change ? After install mapping did you feel different on acceleration?
Good video thx for posting. Also, how is the low rpm fueling on your bike .. like below 5k rpm? Thinking of buying one soon and read about on off fueling and how some ecu race tunes help with that if its a problem.
These bikes typically don't like low speeds anyways, but I didn't notice anything "bad" on the stock tune about riding at lower RPMs. I did notice however, the throttle is much smoother through all RPMs since the Race Map flash.
Thanks for all these awesome videos! Quick question. I just ordered my t800+ for base 21 like yours. If I do the euro tune with the headlight signals will the exterior front signals stop working or will they both work together (redundant signals)? Thanks!
Ok so I watched slip on install & this upmap install… Have you decided to remove servo cables completely? If yes does the race map auto-eliminate servo errors? I was thinking if I do this I’d maybe leave servo motor in place but remove the cables only….
The race map entirely disables the servo, but I have not yet removed anything yet. Only have the cables disconnected at the muffler. Will eventually remove the cables but probably leave the servo in place.
@@FocusedGarage best solution is to keep cables in the bike (disconnected at muffler obviousely) and connected to the motor, but disconnect electrical plug at the motor itselve. With a race-based map it will not light any error, it will not stress the motor, and bike will be ready for eventual restore to original status, fitting oem exhaust and cables back.
I see you have the same warning service wrench light on your dash. I guess you did your own 600miles oil change also. I have the same exhaust in carbon and UpMap from CBC Motorsports. I also just downloaded the OEM race map. I downloaded the stock map first also. But I don’t see it in my UpMap app, map section. I only see the race map in my app. Can you please tell me if you see it in your app in the map section. Thank you
I was also a little disappointed that I couldn't find a way to reset that wrench light through the UpMap. As far as my factory tune goes, you just have to go into settings and it gives you the option to revert to the stock map. It isn't a map that is available through the store or anything like that.
@@gabroracing this would be a great function to have as part of the T800+. Many of us do our own oil change or simply live too far from the dealer to bring the bike in.
@@motojim_7 yes, but it's a sort of "secondary target" for us, and still need a lot of work to transform a tool born to do only reflashes to a full diagnosys. We will do, but can't say when!
I've a UK '21 Spec Tuono v4 E5 (not race) with standard exhaust. As a Euro 5 emissions bike it runs awful at low revs and seems to overheat. Do you know if the Upmap fixes these problems??
A lot of that may be due to the heat of the catalytic converter and V4's running warm when not getting airflow. A tune that brings the fans on sooner may help a little, but as far as I know these bikes like to run hot when going slow.
Great video I’m getting my 21 on Wednesday here in the Uk got a deal so carbon Akra &race map done at dealership. I’m interested in what else that device can do ,here in the uk having real trouble getting a MIA unit for the nav direction,s and the telemetry from the bike I’m wondering if this would do the same thing . Thanks again for the video I’ve subscribed great work 👍👍
hi, i have the 21 euro5 v4 1100 Tuono factory, would like to be sure i order the correct upmap unit can anyone provide part number for T800 & the cable that I need to ask for. Thanks Simon
Any time you flash a vehicle using a non OE way, you run the risk of warranty denial. That being said, I have the ability to flash back to stock. They also have to prove the tune caused a failure so if I have a bad valve cover gasket, that isn't likely the fault of the tune.

I believe there are maps available for bikes with no hardware changes. These will still add a little power as well as smooth out the throttle.

The Gabro tune removes the functioning of the OEM signals and uses the headlight only.

RevZilla. They are Rizoma turn signal adapters for Aprilia.
