Hello,
My name is Andy. Welcome to the channel, where you can see some of my custom projects being created. Hope you enjoy the videos. I appreciate the likes and subscriptions!
Thank you,
Andy
Wow! There’s a lot of steps to get the job done! Gorgeous one-of-a-kind board when it’s done though!
Thank you!
Contratulations for your beautiful job, from south Brazil.
Thank you. I appreciate it!
Very nice Cribbage Board
Thank you
Great work Andy👍👍….another beautiful piece👏👏. If you can find the time, could you do a video on how you are creating your designing and planning your toolpath?
Keep up the great work👍
Great idea. I will try and do some screen captures when I am making the files.
Fantastic work! Wouldn't even begin to think how you would price these out!!!
Pricing is always one of the hardest parts
@@ARBWoodwork are you willing to share a ballpark? I've made a bunch of boards to give away but never know what I should price them at of I were to do so. The one I sold I'm sure I under priced.
Incredible work!
The algorithm just put me on your stuff. I love it. I make lots of end grain boards and started playing with vcarve inlays this year. I’d be curious to compare my cut settings with you.
I love the wasteboard design and the press! Any more info on them?
Thanks! Hitting that subscribe button!

Thank you! I am still trying to hone in the settings myself. Right now I am .2 inches on the pocket. Start depth .18 and flat depth of .08.
The waste board was a design idea inspired by @broinwood
The press was just something I was trying out after seeing a book binding press.
Thanks for the Sub!
@@ARBWoodwork interesting on your settings. I too use .2 for the pocket and .18 for the start depth but I’ve been running a flat depth of 0.02. What benefits are you seeing to a deeper flat depth?
Thanks!
-Ben
@@benrudman3917 it seems to make it so the plug does not bottom out and room for glue
AMAZING!! You do some really beautiful work!!
I’m very interested in your press also. I’m assuming it gives very even pressure??
Thank you! So far so good on the even pressure. I am not sure how much force in total is applied but is was enough to flatten some very cupped boards when testing.
I'm impressed by your work. Not wanting to make an assumption, but the reason for making & working w/ the end grain wood is to reduce splitting/runs from the router ? A solid base slab would = less assembly work.
With the endgrain inlay you have less chance of tear out on the cuts. In my next video I will have an inlay that is not endgrain and you can see a little difference in the plug.
@@ARBWoodwork Thanks for the answer. Are most of your cribbage boards customer requested jobs ?
Most of my project videos are either customer projects or projects where I am testing new techniques or setting on the cnc.
Great technique. The board looks wonderful. Do you have plans to build that press you use to put pressure on the inlay while the glue dries?
Thank you. I didn’t create any plans for it. Just sort of winged it. I could try to put together some plans if there is interest.
@@ARBWoodwork That would be cool! It kind of looks like a book press, but larger, and for inlays.
Yeah I based it off of a book press I saw an image of. Technically pressing the same material. haha
So beautiful
Thank you
@@ARBWoodwork Nice to know your channel
Very nice 👌
Thank you
How do you go back and correct areas without having to repeat the whole job?
I just select out in the design what I missed and create a new path. I save my x,y center coordinates for the blanks.
Awesome. Thank You !
👍👏
Thank you !
What's parts did you use to make that press?
I used Baltic birch plywood and a shoulder vise from Lee Valley www.leevalley.com/en-ca/shop/tools/workshop/workbenches/vises/31134-shoulder-vise-screw?item=70G0151.
