Doctor Who: The Ice Warriors Animation Comparison

In 2013, The Ice Warriors had its missing episodes animated for its DVD release, before then it had only been represented in its complete form unofficially thanks to the efforts of the Loose Cannon team. The VHS release of the story contained an abridged 10-minute recap of the missing episodes but is not included in this comparison for sake of ease.

Would have worked better if the animated episodes were cel animated, NOT flash animated. They look & move more like those cardboard animatronics you see on some ad signs & amusement parks.

I like the Loose Cannon footage way better. I wish the BBC had gone that route instead of the wonky animations. However, i am still grateful the stories are being redone. I want The Dalek Masterplan restored.

I've not bothered with most of the animations - I prefer the narrated audios - but of the ones that I've seen The Ice Warriors worked for me as I felt like I'd seem the story and followed the plot.

I feel like this animation is functional at best, but at least it's very watchable unlike Web's.

I forgot this episode was animated, much like how I forget pretty much every Ice Warrior story apart from Seeds of Death.

I’ve heard Monster of Peladon is pretty dire and this story was dull as anything but the rest are fabulous.

This animation is great for it budget I like the way they move it lot more better than power and they animated style is good
