Once again delightfully informative. Thanks
Brilliant as usual David.
Excellent!
There is a favorite lyric from XTC on “English settlement” in All of a sudden : Love’s like a jigsaw, you get the straight bits, but there’s something missing in the middle 🎸 Without the dedicated fans recording audio in the Sixties, or by home film camera, or John C’ telesnaps, or the censor snips of Oz, our experience of Who, would not be as complete.
Aw, Galaxy 4 is great! Script's a lot more sophisticated than the general consensus would admit. Maaga is a wonderfully icy villainess and the Chumblies are adorable. High on my wish-list for complete episode recovery.
I never knew The Keys of Marinus was missing bits till they restored it for the DVD
I only remembered those ones after recording so there might be a short follow up coming soon!
Wonderful video!
Well done!
Knowing the limited lifespan of film stock it's a thing to wonder that if we get anymore episodes recovered, what kind of state will they be in?
Thank goodness they stopped using nitrocellulose as a film backing. Who knows, depends on whether the film has been kept in canister. But I'm not an expert
Impressive video
I'm fairly sure Underwater 2 had a second or so missing near the middle, with Ben and Jamie on the rockface, so cutaways were used to mask this ala War Machines.
I've been resisting buying any of the Blu-Rays because I didn't want to double dip, having bought every single DVD. But it's tempting...
I was in the same position years ago but as the collection went on it just made sense to get them. The cover artwork, HD versions of the episodes, more extra features, optional vfx for some stories & it’s just tidier for a collection of boxsets than dvds for each individual story.
Tidiness is what sold me in the end. I moved house last year and I realised just how much space they took up. So I've now got all the standard editions, eagerly awaiting more, and I've been selling off my DVDs. @@BH-98
I'm rather intruiged by new footage being inserted in The Time Meddler. It's unfortunate that I don't have a Blu-Ray player, though.

I'm happy they have been restored in some form at the very least. I wish more returns
