i remember when setzer decided to tour with an orchestra and one of the tv entertainment shows said it was groundbreaking and unheard of...guess they never saw elvis do one of his 1600 shows during the 70's

Well, technically, Gretsches ARE Fenders. Though having both a Fender Strat and a Gretsch 5120, I would agree that Gretsh are a step up. I love them both though! :)
